At a Path to Peace Counseling, we believe gratitude is one of the most powerful tools for healing. It doesn’t require a perfect life. It simply asks us to pause and recognize the strength we’ve gained, the lessons we’ve learned, and the blessings that still surround us.

No matter what season you’re in, remember that every challenge you’ve overcome has shaped the person you’re becoming!! Today choose to celebrate resilience and find gratitude in the journey.

How often do we find ourselves saying, “People don’t treat me the way I treat them, or I have to remember that people are not me?”

While it’s true that everyone has different capacities, values, and ways of showing up, there comes a point when we have to ask ourselves: What am I continuing to hold on to that is no longer serving me?

Sometimes the greatest act of self-care isn’t receiving more love, support, understanding.
Sometimes it’s the releasing unrealistic expectations, unhealthy attachments, resentment, disappointment, or relationships that no longer align with your growth.

Yesterday was truly phenomenal at A Path to Peace Day: 231 The Reunion! 💙

A huge shoutout to our biggest sponsor, Forrest Tax & Accounting of Muskegon, Michigan.

For the past six years, they have been a valued partner, helping manage our accounting department alongside our CFO and consistently supporting our vision and mission.

We are incredibly grateful for your generosity, dedication, and the countless ways you continue to pour into our organization and community. Relationships like these remind us that when people come together with a shared purpose, amazing things happen.

If you’re looking for tax preparation, accounting services, payroll support, CPA services, or business financial management, Forrest Tax & Accounting can meet your needs.

Yesterday was a humbling and grateful day. Thank you for believing in A Path to Peace and helping make 231 The Reunion such a success. We appreciate you!

This month, we create space for men to be heard, supported, and empowered. Healing is not weakness. Vulnerability is not weakness. Seeking support is not weakness.

Check on the strong men. Encourage the quiet men. Support the healing men. Celebrate the growing men. Your MENTAL HEALTH MATTERS!!

What’s your favorite item on the menu from Corine’s Soul Food Cakes & Catering?

It’s Soulful Sunday, and if you haven’t experienced the brunch at Corine’s Soul Food Cakes & Catering on the first Sunday of the month, you are missing out!

Our favorites? The butter pecan cake and the catfish with crack chicken meal. Truth be told, the cake was so good we ate dessert before we even touched our meal!

A special thank you to Corine for your continued support of A Path to Peace Day and for generously donating food vouchers. Your kindness, community spirit, and amazing food mean so much to us.

Now tell us, what’s your favorite item on the menu?

What’s your favorite item on the menu at Navarros? 🌯

Growing up, Navarros was Melba Clark go-to spot for walking tacos, tamales, and learning the story and history behind the Panchita makes her appreciate it even more.

A huge shoutout to Navarros for donating food vouchers to A Path to Peace Day 231 Reunion and supporting our mission of healing through mind, body, and spirit. Community, food, and connection all play a role in our mental wellness.

Be on the lookout for the Burrito Fairy 🧚‍♀️🌯 They travel around the 231 city dropping clues for free burrito voucher. And if you know, you know... meat gravy over the Panchita, burrito, and tamales is a 231 staple!
