Our pre-marital program is co-facilitated by Azusa Pacific alumni and it helps to set the foundation of what marriage is. El nido vacío es mucho más que una transición familiar; es una transición emocional y de identidad.

Muchos padres experimentan tristeza, nostalgia, soledad y preguntas sobre quiénes son fuera de su rol de cuidadores.

Es importante recordar que extrañar a nuestros hijos no disminuye el orgullo que sentimos por ellos.

Ambas emociones pueden coexistir.

These two photos took place in the same week. We started at the ER on Monday morning and ended with a celebration of an accomplishment for our middle son on Friday. And this week has already presented with more challenges. We can either give into the negative emotions that come out of these situations/events or continue to rely on our faith and know that God has a plan for us and we have to hold on deeply to it. 🛋👩🏻‍🏫 ☔️ 💪

Como padres, nuestro objetivo no es hacerles la vida fácil a nuestros hijos, sino prepararlos para la vida.

Educar con amor y límites les da herramientas para convertirse en adultos responsables, resilientes y emocionalmente saludables. Decir “no” también es una forma de amor. Permitir que experimenten consecuencias naturales les enseña habilidades para la vida
