Meet Dr. Lee Church! Dr. Church joined the EBCH Emergency Department team in May 2025 and enjoys caring for patients in the Ely community.

When he’s not at work, you’ll likely find him fishing on the lake, chasing his son around the outdoor hockey rink, or pushing his daughter on the swings. At home, he’s also kept busy by his two geriatric cats, Marci and Dottie, while his wife, Breanna, keeps the whole crew in line!

Dr. Church’s family-centered spirit and love for the outdoors make him a wonderful fit for the EBCH team. He is here for you when things go south, up North!

June is National Safety Month, and with more people heading outdoors for summer adventures around the region, it's a good time to think about being prepared.

Pack a first aid kit for your hike.
Wear your life jacket on the water.
Let someone know your plans when you're heading somewhere remote.
