🎂🥳HAPPY 10TH BIRTHDAY FOREFRONT THERAPY! 🥳🎉

When we started Forefront 10 years ago, we had no idea where we would be 10 years later…but we had hopes. We hoped we would make a difference in people’s lives. We hoped our love of therapy might inspire others to be therapists too, and to strive to give the best to their patients every day. Man, are we proud of this group of people we get to work with every day. May even be our proudest accomplishment.

October is Dysautonomia Awareness Month. 💚 ⁠
Our own Dr. Hannah Brooks presented on “Dysautonomia: Pain Neuroscience Approach” at this year’s Indiana APTA Fall Conference 🤩

🙋‍♂️What is Dysautonomia? It’s also called autonomic dysfunction and is a group of disorders that affect the autonomic nervous system.⁠ It often impacts those with hypermobility.
🌟Common symptoms of dysautonomia include: ⁠ ⁠
⁠Tachycardia (fast heart rate)
Hypotension (low blood pressure)
Dizziness/lightheadedness
Gastrointestinal dysmotility (problems moving food through the digestive system)
Disturbed bladder function
Temperature and sweating dysregulation
Sleep problems

Another great Team Quarterly Meeting with the BEST Team🤩 We had a blast getting the team together to celebrate each other and the growth over the last 10 years as well as a full team discussion on Hypermobility - from the perspective of generalized hypermobility, pediatric considerations, pelvic floor considerations, and Ehlers Danlos Syndrome. There is nothing better than a true interdisciplinary discussion between PTs, OT, SLPs, LCSW, and our administrative assistants to help provide the best holistic care for our clients. Intentionally living our Mission, Core Pillar #2. 💙

We are so excited to announce that we are opening up a Clinic Manager role at our robust and exceptional multidisciplinary Bronstein Clinic in Downtown Evansville. This role is solely for clinicians in outpatient Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, and Mental Health Therapy. Salary range is $85,000-$135,000 along with a full benefit package. Primarily clinical-based role with administrative responsibilities supported. Previous experience is recommended. We are all one-on-one clinically with full continuity of care. This clinic location serves primarily individuals with Medicare, Medicaid, as well as individuals who are uninsured. No nights, no weekends, half day Friday's. Another great Quarterly Meeting! Every 3-months we close the clinics on a Thursday afternoon for lunch, team meetings, education, and team-togetherness. :) This time we focused on updates, celebrating Jenna, and spending time together! Such an amazing team!!
