Another amazing University of Evansville Doctor of Physical Therapy graduate, Dr. McClary is joining the Forefront Team as a Doctor of Physical Therapy and is accepted in the postdoctoral residency program in Orthopedics, in collaboration with Arcadia University. A Newburgh, IN, native, Sydney is an outstanding addition to the growing Forefront team!

She is a graduate from University of Evansville Doctor of Physical Therapy program as well as successfully completed her postdoctoral residency with UE/ASV. Dr. Elpers brings a wide spectrum in clinical expertise in all neurological conditions such as Balance Conditions, Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson's Disease, Spinal Cord Injury, Vestibular Conditions, and many more! 🦓Did you know?
**Over 50% of those with Autism Spectrum Disorder
(ASD) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) present with significant hypermobility, compared to ~ 20% in general population.
**Greater prevalence of ASD and hypermobility in woman (44.7%) versus men (21.6%)
**Hypermobility is often associated with the presence of one or more neurodevelopmental conditions, including autism and ADHD.
**Individuals with EDS are reported to be 7.4 times more likely to be autistic than a comparison group.

Our Team provided hypermobility screening, run warm up, and had great discussion on the impacts of EDS and HDS on life, both adult and pediatric!

Hypermobility spectrum disorders (HSD) are connective tissue disorders that cause joint hypermobility, instability, injury, and pain. Other problems such as fatigue, headaches, GI problems, sensory integrative dysfunction, and autonomic dysfunction are often seen as part of HSD (EDS Society, 2026).
