IPL, or Intense Pulsed Light, started out as a cosmetic treatment. Today it's one of the most effective tools we have for chronic dry eye. Most dry eye comes down to meibomian gland dysfunction. That's when the oil glands along your eyelids stop producing the quality of oil your tears need. IPL targets that directly. The treatment reduces inflammation around those glands and helps them work the way they're supposed to again. That means longer-lasting relief instead of another bottle of drops. If dry eye has been part of your routine for a while, it doesn't have to stay that way. Schedule

Ocular Surface Disease covers a range of issues affecting your eyelids, tear film, and the surface of your eye. It's often triggered by more than one cause at once. For some patients, it's simply not producing enough tears. For others, it's bacteria along the eyelash line, or oil glands that aren't working the way they should. That's why we don't use a one-size-fits-all approach. Dr. Barrett evaluates your specific symptoms. That could mean dryness, burning, stinging, itching, excessive watering, or blurry vision. From there, she builds a treatment plan around what's actually causing them. Schedule your evaluation today.

If you've struggled with dry, irritated eyes, Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) therapy may be a treatment option worth exploring. IPL works by targeting inflammation and supporting healthier oil gland function, helping improve the quality of your tears and reduce dry eye symptoms over time.

Many patients experience improved comfort, less irritation, and healthier eyes after treatment. If traditional dry eye treatments haven't provided the relief you're looking for, ask us if IPL may be right for you! Schedule a consultation today.

Dry eye symptoms can be frustrating, but effective treatment starts with understanding what's causing them.

Our advanced Dry Eye Analyzer allows us to take a closer look at your tear film, eyelids, and overall ocular surface health. This technology helps us identify underlying issues and create a treatment plan tailored specifically to your needs.

If you're experiencing burning, irritation, watering, or fluctuating vision, a comprehensive dry eye evaluation may be the first step toward lasting relief.
