This week is National Assisted Living Week. At Hospice, we know the importance of the many local assisted living facilities in our community.

Hospice care is offered at these facilities as a compliment to the care a patient is already receiving and able to assist and further support staff as a patient nears the end of life.

The Project Christine Grief Support Program is open to any family in the area who is grieving the death of a school-aged child and has at least one K-12 sibling at home. It is offered at no charge and includes:
• Weekly dinner groups
• Peer-based support
• Age-appropriate art-based activities
• Professional grief support
• Monthly social events for families
• Mindfulness interventions
• Referrals for one-on-one grief counseling
