This week, NDLTCA staff and member leaders are in Washington, D.C., to meet with North Dakota's congressional offices and advocate on behalf of long term care providers across our state.

These important conversations help ensure that policymakers understand the challenges and opportunities facing long term care, including workforce shortages, access to quality care, regulatory burdens, and the long term sustainability of services for older adults and individuals with disabilities.

We are proud to bring the voices and experiences of our members directly to Capitol Hill and appreciate the continued engagement of North Dakota's congressional delegation as we work together to strengthen long term care for those we serve!

Can't make it to the Voices of Valley Variety Show on June 23? You can still support Music Therapy and brighten a resident's day!

As part of our Music Therapy fundraiser, family and friends have the opportunity to purchase a special serenade for a resident. Members of our Music Therapy Department, along with special guests, will personally deliver a musical performance and a flower to each resident receiving a serenade.

Serenades will be delivered on June 18 and 19, creating meaningful moments of joy, connection, and music for those we serve.

This is a wonderful way to honor a loved one, let a resident know you're thinking of them, and support the Music Therapy program if you're unable to attend the Voices of Valley Variety Show at Calvary Lutheran Church on June 23.

Tamar Dolidze works as a night charge nurse at Valley Senior Living on Columbia. Her younger daughter, Mariam Chomakhidze, is following in her footsteps as a CNA.

Last week, representatives from Valley Senior Living were honored to attend the Northland Community & Technical College Nursing Pinning Ceremony as we celebrated the newest graduates entering the nursing profession.

We’re especially proud to recognize several current Valley care partners who reached this milestone while continuing to serve our residents and community along the way. Balancing work, school, and personal commitments takes incredible dedication, and we couldn’t be more proud of your accomplishment.
