The first moments after birth aren’t just important for moms.

They’re important for dads, too. 🤍

Skin-to-skin contact helps babies regulate their temperature, heart rate, breathing, and stress response. It also helps build early bonding and connection.

Sometimes mom needs a moment to recover. Sometimes baby simply needs the comfort of another loving set of arms.

Those first cuddles aren’t just sweet.

They’re powerful.

✨ Did your partner get skin-to-skin time after birth?

Pregnancy, birth, and motherhood have a way of convincing women they need to prove they need help.

That they should wait until they’re overwhelmed.

That they should be grateful for whatever support they get.

That asking for more makes them needy.

But support isn’t something you earn.

It’s something every mother deserves.

You deserve to be listened to.
You deserve to ask questions.
You deserve to feel safe.
You deserve to have people around you who see you.

Not because you’re struggling enough.

Because you’re human.

✨ You don’t have to wait until you’re exhausted, overwhelmed, or at your breaking point to deserve support.

What is one thing you wish someone had helped you with during pregnancy, birth, or postpartum?

👇 Share below. Your answer might help another mother feel less alone.

There’s a difference between being monitored…
and being supported.

A difference between being talked at…
and truly listened to.

Birth isn’t just physical.
It’s emotional. Mental. Deeply human.

And the way you’re cared for during labor matters.

Feeling safe matters.
Feeling heard matters.
Feeling like your voice belongs in the room matters.

Support doesn’t remove the intensity of birth.
But it can completely change how you experience it.

You deserve care that:
– listens before rushing
– explains instead of dismissing
– supports instead of controlling
– sees you, not just your chart

✨ Because being cared for and being heard should never be too much to ask.

If you could choose one thing to feel during birth, what would it be? 🤍

You’re allowed to want a different kind of birth. 🤍

Not because you’re difficult.
Not because you’re “anti” anything.
Not because you think birth has to be perfect.

But because birth is personal.

Maybe you want:
– Less fear
– More support
– More say in your care
– A calmer environment
– To feel truly heard
– To trust your body instead of fight it

That doesn’t make you unrealistic.

It makes you human.

You deserve care that sees more than a due date or a chart.
Care that slows down enough to listen.
Care that honors both safety and support.

Your birth matters.
How you feel during it matters too.

✨ Your birth. Your story. Your way.

One of the hardest parts of labor…

is feeling like nothing is happening.

A lot of labor progression doesn’t look dramatic.

Sometimes it looks like:
– Going quiet
– Needing more reassurance
– Feeling emotional
– Wanting less conversation
– Doubting yourself

And ironically…

the moment many women feel like they’re “falling apart”
is often the moment labor is intensifying in the right direction.

Your body is working.
Even when it feels messy.
Even when it feels hard.

Progress is not always peaceful.
But that doesn’t mean it isn’t happening.

This is what most people don’t see about birth.
It’s not just clinical care.

It’s presence.
It’s support.
It’s someone steady in the room when everything feels intense.

Someone who isn’t rushing you.
Isn’t taking over.
Isn’t making you feel like a problem to solve.

Just someone there…

Watching.
Guiding.
Trusting your body with you.

That’s the difference.

Is this the kind of support you’d want? 🤍

No one really prepares you for this part…

Not just your body changing.

But your mind.
Your priorities.
Your identity.

The way you start to slow down.
Tune in.
Listen differently.

Pregnancy isn’t just growing a baby.

It’s reshaping you.

Softening you.
Strengthening you.
Preparing you in ways no one explains.

And that quiet shift?

It matters more than anything.

One of the biggest lies women are told about birth…

is that they need to “stay strong.”

Labor isn’t about holding it together.

It’s about letting go.

Letting your body take over.
Letting the process unfold.
Letting yourself feel everything.

Because the moment most women say:
“I can’t do this anymore”…

is often right before they meet their baby.

Did you feel this during labor? 👇

Not every workout in pregnancy should feel “good.”

We’ve been taught to push through discomfort.

But during pregnancy…
your body isn’t asking for discipline.
It’s asking for awareness.

Sometimes strength looks like movement.
Sometimes strength looks like rest.

Both are part of a healthy pregnancy.

✨ Your body is constantly communicating
✨ The more you listen, the more you trust it
✨ And that trust carries into labor

Have you felt any of these during pregnancy? 💬

03/22/2026

You don’t need to “push through” workouts during pregnancy.
Your body is already doing one of the most demanding things it will ever do.

Exercise during pregnancy isn’t about intensity.
It’s about consistency and connection.
Some days you’ll feel strong.
Some days you’ll need to slow down.

Both are normal. Both are right.

✨ Movement should support your body
✨ Not override it
✨ Not silence it

Because when you learn to listen now…
you’ll trust it more during labor too.

Have you noticed your body asking for more rest or more movement lately? 👇
