Did anyone else catch last Sunday’s Washington Post Crossword Puzzle? 🧩

With 1 in 31 children diagnosed with autism, it seems that 31 Across was the perfect place for Els to be.

We were so excited to see The Els Center of Excellence featured as a clue, helping bring awareness to autism and the work being done every day to support individuals and families.

Comment below if you got it right! đź’™

Club 31 Champion of the Month: Cade đź’™

Meet this month’s Club 31 Champion of the Month, Cade. Cade began his employment journey through the Work Experience program at Els for Autism, where his focus, motivation, and strong work ethic quickly stood out.

While working at the Marriott Hotel Palm Beach Gardens, Cade learned kitchen routines, maintained cleanliness standards, and confidently took on tasks independently. With support from his Els for Autism Job Coach, his hard work earned him a part-time position as a Kitchen Steward.

Today, Cade is thriving in his role by supporting food preparation, assisting across departments, and growing in confidence every day. His goal is to secure a full-time position, and he is well on his way.

Your support helps create meaningful employment opportunities for autistic individuals like Cade. Become a Club 31 monthly donor at https://www.elsforautism.org/club31/

We are thankful for our amazing partnership with Loggerhead Marinelife Center. Not only do they welcome our clients in the Adult Day Training (ADT) program, but earlier this year, they also partnered with U Can Employ, to ensure their Sensory Saturday program reflects best practices in autism inclusion.

They are also a Sea of Possibilities Retail Partner, proudly selling our products in their gift shops. It’s organizations like Loggerhead Marinelife Center that are helping make Palm Beach County an even more autism inclusive community!

“We had the privilege of spending five days with an incredible international family, observing, coaching, and supporting them in real time,” said Marissa Blankstein, Senior Manager of Behavior Services at Els for Autism. “Our team brought together behavior, speech and language, occupational therapy, and mental health services to create practical strategies that truly fit their lives and build confidence for the future.”

The Global Outreach Autism Learning Services (GOALS) program provides individualized support, training, and coaching for families and professionals caring for individuals with autism and related disabilities through a transdisciplinary, research-based approach.

We are honored to partner with families as they build confidence, connection, and new possibilities for the future. đź’™
