It's that time of year. If you keep your dogs outside, please make sure they have access to shade and a lot of water. Here are some signs that your dog is overheating. All or some of these: Excessive or loud panting, sticky drool, bright red or pale gums, lethargy and collapsing. Avoid strenuous or lengthy exercise when it is humid and hot.

Very HOT temperatures are in the forecast! Please keep dogs inside when the heat is this dangerous. If they have to be outside, provide extra amounts of water, and shade. Please watch for any of these symptoms and go directly to the ER if you animal is experiencing a heat stroke.
