Together, WE DID IT. We held THREE summer camp sessions for the first time ever! At times, it felt like a heavy lift. We were stretched a bit more than in past summers. And we worried a bit that we wouldn't have sufficient scholarship funding or volunteers to match the 35% increase in programming.

BUT YOU WERE THERE FOR OUR CAMPERS. Every donor, every foundation, every friend, every volunteer. We absolutely could NOT have done it without you. Thank you for surrounding our campers and being their CIRCLE OF SUPPORT. 🟢

Tonight, our Board of Directors held their meeting on the campgrounds. How sweet it was for them to be here and see our mission in action! How sweet it is that they devote years and years to leading and governing our nonprofit! Join us in thanking them!

My oh my! There are a lot of fun activities to choose from! Lego building (thanks to Bricks4Kids and the Kansas City Data Center), a water slide, shaving cream, Bingo, AND popsicles!
