Personal laundry, linen and terry change, daily light housekeeping and weekly full service housekeeping are included. The frequency and amount of help depends on individual need. We are proud of our state-of-the art Memory Care Neighborhood. This private and secure neighborhood provides all the Grand Villa of Lakeland services and amenities with upgrades and special features that meet the individual needs of residents with memory challenges, including Alzheimer's or dementia. This comfortable home-like environment allows freedom of movement in an exit controlled setting. Our Memory Support program blends activities specifically designed for residents with memory challenges like Alzheimer's, with newest technology. Our residents are involved daily therapeutic and recreational activities that encourage continued independence while preserving dignity. For dementia care in Lakeland, we focus on activities to enhance general health, personal relationships, and communication skills. We concentrate on familiar abilities to avoid frustration at not being able to accomplish an activity. We laugh, smile and make eye contact. We give lots of positive encouragement. If a resident becomes anxious or upset, we take a break. Light exercise programs help residents maintain muscles and flexibility. Memory Care Life Skill Stations

Family caregivers can use this program to provide interesting, active days for their loved one while they are at work, or take a well-deserved break from caregiving. Our Dusk to Dawn Overnight Program helps to eliminate risks often found at home, when the person can't be closely monitored. Participants engage in quiet activities, rest, or sleep, in our secure calming environment. Gentle exercise and a schedule of social and recreational activities are provided to entertain and occupy attendees. Delicious and nutritious snacks are offered. We provide assistance with personal hygiene and medications, if necessary. Our respite care in Lakeland program helps caregivers to rest, or attend to other obligations, while their loved one enjoys a structured, supervised, socially active environment.
