Earlier this month, a former patient returned with an incredible gesture, 200 handwritten thank-you cards for our team in honor of Mental Health Awareness Month. Each card reflects the time, care and heart he put into expressing his gratitude. He shared how much his experience meant to him and asked us to pass along this powerful message: “You saved my life.”

In this work, it can be easy to wonder just how much of a difference we’re making but moments like this serve as a powerful reminder: we are making an impact every single day. These cards were placed in our employee break rooms, where staff were encouraged to take one as a lasting reminder of the difference they make.

Thank you to our incredible team for the compassion, dedication and care you bring each day. We are so proud of you!

Members of our Leadership Team, along with dedicated members of our Nursing Department, were honored to attend this year’s Fishbowl Fundraiser in support of Arch Street Center, Inc. in Lancaster. Events like this remind us of the power of community partnerships and the importance of supporting organizations that make a meaningful difference every day.

Arch Street Center provides a membership based social rehabilitation program open 365 days a year, offering adults living with mental illness a safe, welcoming and stigma free environment. Through structured activities, nutritious meals and essential services, including showers and laundry, the center empowers individuals with opportunities for connection, skill building and personal growth.

We are proud to support Arch Street Center’s mission and grateful to be part of a community committed to expanding access, reducing stigma and fostering hope for those we serve.

We were proud to kick off Mental Health Awareness Month at Penn Medicine Park during the first of three Lancaster Stormers games on May 12. Lancaster Behavioral Health Hospital partnered with local mental health agencies, inviting them to join us in the community by hosting resource tables throughout the game.

Organizations participated in one, two or all three events, helping us connect fans with valuable mental health resources, raise awareness and continue important conversations aimed at reducing stigma and increasing access to care. We’re excited to keep the momentum going at the upcoming games!

Despite a rainy day, our Community Relations Representative, Greg, was proud to be part of the 2026 Mental Health Festival in Lebanon last weekend. With 50+ vendors and 215 community members registered, the strong turnout reflects the continued growth and impact of this event each year. Even with less-than-ideal weather, the commitment from attendees and partners highlights just how important it is to bring mental health resources directly into our community.

We kept the celebration going during with a special Employee Appreciation event for our incredible team! Staff across both day and evening shifts enjoyed a delicious visit from the Lancaster Burger Company food truck, serving up fresh burgers, crispy fries and hand spun milkshakes. It was the perfect way to pause, connect and recharge together.

As we wrap up an incredible and turn the page to , we took a moment this morning to celebrate the people who make it all possible, our dedicated staff! Both our night shift team heading home and our day shift team just arriving were welcomed with a special breakfast in the lobby, complete with a delicious variety of options to start (or end!) their day on a high note.

It was a small but meaningful way to say THANK YOU for the compassion, commitment and care our team brings every single day. We are grateful for each of you and proud to celebrate you, not just this week, but always. Happy Hospital Week!

An unforgettable evening dedicated to elevating the mental well being of youth and children across Lancaster County. From interactive culinary experiences to powerful stories of impact, the event truly engaged all five senses while shining a light on the incredible work being done to expand access to behavioral health services.
