Physicians are on the medical staff of The Ridge Behavioral Health System, but, with limited exceptions, are independent practitioners who are not employees or agents of The Ridge Behavioral Health System. The facility shall not be liable for actions or treatments provided by physicians. We are unable to provide medical advice through social media. Not all superheroes wear capes… but some of ours do! 🍬✨

Our team at The Ridge Behavioral Health System brought a little extra Halloween spirit to our patients today! From superheroes to beloved Disney characters, our staff dressed up, shared smiles, and handed out candy to help make Halloween a little more special for those in our care.

We were proud to bring a little fun, joy, and a sense of normalcy to our patients while continuing to provide the compassionate care and support they deserve.

While our staff certainly looked the part of superheroes today, the real superheroes are our patients — especially those who show incredible strength and courage as they navigate their mental health and recovery journeys. Their resilience inspires us every day.

And to our incredible staff, thank you for going above and beyond, not just on Halloween, but every day. Your compassion, dedication, and commitment to our patients make a difference in ways that go far beyond the care you provide.

🎉 Please join us in welcoming Johnny Tirado, MSN, RN, NEA-BC, PMH-BC, as Chief Nursing Officer at The Ridge Behavioral Health System!

Johnny brings extensive nursing leadership experience in acute behavioral health, psychiatric services, and complex clinical care settings. Most recently, he served as Director of Nursing/Nurse Manager at the Miami VA Medical Center, where he led a 33-bed acute behavioral health unit and a team of more than 50 nursing professionals caring for our nation’s Veterans.

With a strong commitment to patient safety, quality improvement, staff development, and compassionate care, Johnny will help lead our nursing team as we continue to serve children, adolescents, and adults throughout Central Kentucky.

We’re excited to welcome Johnny to The Ridge family and look forward to the experience, leadership, and passion he brings to our mission!

For women who need Partial Hospitalization (PHP) services but may be at risk of relapse due to an unsafe or unstable living environment, our PHP transitional living option offers additional support throughout the recovery journey.
