Did you know Dr. Day designed a curriculum to help children develop social and emotional skills that support self-regulation? Through this program, our occupational therapists will train you and your child to problem-solve what to do when big feelings occur.

Set up toys to encourage reaching and play at midline. Our OT doctors can show you how and support you through occupational evaluation, treatment, and education on developmental expectations. Our next infant massage class is Monday at 10:30am at our office at 1795 Alysheba Way, Lexington KY Suites 2102/2103. While registration is not required, it is recommended to guarantee there is a comfortable spot for you to work and learn! This support group for new moms is an excellent space for moms to connect; I (Dr. Day) have also presented infant massage at this group a few times and I am so thankful to collaborate with caring, knowledgable professionals. I am grateful for warm spaces and resources in our community for moms to uplift each other. Thanks Lactation Care with Elizabeth for all the work you do and congrats on 9 years of serving our community of parents!

Co-regulation supports the whole family. We believe in whole body techniques that nurture your mind-body connection. Dr. Day's Nourishing New Families Program is based on evidence. Utilizing training and evidence from her infant massage, PCES (Pregnancy Core Exercise Specialist) certification, and PMH-C (Perinatal Mental Health-Certification) trainings, she teaches parents to feel confident in the the tools they use to calm themselves and their children. From understanding development to creating spaces, we help you design structures, routines, and systems to get your daily activities done.
