🍔 REAL LIFE WEIGHT LOSS: SOMETIMES DINNER IS FIVE GUYS! 😂
Today was one of THOSE days!
After five long days of one kiddo being so sick, I finally say lets get out of this 🏠only to deal with traffic, stress, a few other unexpected things, and before we knew it, dinner was LATE!
And guess what? Dinner ended up being Five Guys Burgers. 🍔
Was it the dinner I planned? NOPE.
But here's something I want people to understand about weight loss:
You don't have to eat perfectly. You just have to learn how to make adjustments when life happens!
Let's look at what a few small changes can do at Five Guys.
🍔 LITTLE CHEESEBURGER CALORIE COMPARISON
✅ Little cheeseburger with bun and cheese: 610 calories
✅ Same burger WITHOUT the bun, keeping the cheese: Approximately 370 calories
✅ Without the bun, with HALF the cheese: Approximately 335 calories
✅ Without the bun OR cheese: Approximately 300 calories
That's a savings of approximately 240–310 calories just by changing the bun and cheese!
Want lettuce, tomato, onions, and pickles? Go for it! Those toppings add relatively few calories.
🍟 And let's talk about those fries!
A LITTLE Five Guys fry has approximately 530 calories!
Skip the fries, choose water or a zero-calorie drink, and suddenly that fast-food dinner looks a whole lot different!
Here's my point:
Some days you cook a beautiful, balanced dinner....well ask my kids and they would probably say a burnt, crispy dinner 😂
Some days you meal prep...gosh if you're lucky.
And some days you're exhausted, the kids are hungry, traffic has tested every ounce of patience you have, and you're just trying to feed everybody before bedtime! 😂
ONE FAST-FOOD MEAL DOES NOT RUIN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS PROGRESS!
And neither does choosing to eat the bun or enjoy some fries occasionally.
Weight loss is about making choices that work for your real life, not pretending every day is going to be perfect.
💜 Sometimes success is simply making ONE better choice than you would have before.
👇 LET'S BE REAL: When you're exhausted and dinner plans fall apart, what's your go-to fast-food restaurant?
