Labor Day is about recognizing the people who put in the work — and in respiratory care, few people work harder for patients than respiratory therapists.
RTs are constantly balancing patient education, equipment management, compliance follow-up, documentation, troubleshooting, clinical judgment, and the very human work of helping people breathe easier at home.
That work matters. A lot.
But working harder shouldn’t always be the answer.
That’s one of the reasons Nexus was built: to help RTs work more efficiently, with better visibility into patient needs, clearer priorities, streamlined compliance tracking, and actionable data that helps them focus their time where it can make the biggest difference.
The goal isn’t to replace the expertise of the RT. It’s to make that expertise go further.
Less time chasing information.
Less time bouncing between disconnected systems.
More time identifying risk.
More time intervening earlier.
More time helping patients stay compliant, stable, and out of the hospital.
When RTs have better tools, they can spend less energy on administrative friction and more energy doing what they do best: taking care of people.
This Labor Day, we’re grateful for the respiratory therapists doing the hard work every day — and we’re proud to build technology designed to make that work a little easier and even more impactful.
Helping RTs work smarter. Helping patients breathe better.
Happy Labor Day from Encore Healthcare!
