🎉 Congratulations to Kolbey Melton! 🎉

Please join all of us at Overton County EMS in congratulating Mr. Kolbey Melton on successfully passing the National Registry Paramedic Exam! This is a tremendous accomplishment and a testament to the hard work, dedication, and countless hours he has invested in reaching this milestone.

Kolbey will soon graduate from paramedic school and officially begin serving our community as a paramedic. We are incredibly proud of what he has achieved and are excited to see the positive impact he will make in caring for the citizens of Overton County.

🎆 Freedom, Community, and Safety: Happy 4th of July! 🇺🇸

Today, as we gather with family and friends to celebrate the birth of our nation, the team at Overton County EMS wants to wish everyone a happy, fun, and safe Independence Day!

While you’re firing up the grill, enjoying the sunshine, and watching the fireworks light up the Tennessee sky, our dedicated paramedics, EMTs, and dispatchers are on duty 24/7—ready to keep our community safe.

A few quick tips from our crew to keep your celebration safe:

🔥 Leave fireworks to the pros: If you are lighting consumer fireworks, ensure an adult is supervising, keep a bucket of water or hose nearby, and never try to relight a "dud."
☀️ Beat the heat: It’s a warm one! Stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water throughout the day, and don't forget the sunscreen.
🚗 Drive sober: If your celebrations include alcohol, please plan ahead for a designated driver. Let’s make sure everyone gets home safely.
We are incredibly proud to serve the citizens of Overton County today and every day. Have a spectacular and safe 4th!
