Centro líder para el diagnóstico y educación de niños pequeños con pérdida auditiva www.jtc.org/es John Tracy Center's mission is to provide parent-centered services locally and globally to young children with hearing loss, offering families hope, guidance and encouragement. Established in 1943 by Louise Treadwell Tracy, JTC is now one of the world’s most acclaimed private providers of audiology diagnostics, education, resources and support for families who have infants or young children with hearing loss. Our goals are to help children develop the speech, language and listening skills they need to thrive in the hearing world. Further, we equip their parents with the necessary knowledge and training to help their children achieve their full communication potentials. Our services include comprehensive pediatric audiological evaluations for children ages 0 to 17; onsite preschool; family and parent support programs; counseling services; worldwide parent education; TALKS Program of individualized services for children ages 0 to 17 - including a parent-infant program, and one-on-one school age and preschool age services to assess and refine listening, language and speech skills - as well as professional education, including a master’s degree program in partnership with Mount Saint Mary’s University, Los Angeles. 🧺 Today’s menu: imagination, friendship, and plenty of pretend play! ☀️🍎

Whether it’s setting up a picnic or creating their own adventure, play gives children opportunities to explore ideas, communicate, and connect with one another. 💙

💙 At Friday Family School, learning happens for parents, too.

Parents participate in educational classes led by JTC teachers, audiologists, counselors, and other professionals, gaining valuable knowledge about hearing loss, child development, and ways to support their child at home.

Meanwhile, JTC's educational team engages with the children and observes their development to help families continue the learning beyond JTC.
