Nationally recognized heart care starts with extraordinary teams. 🫀🩺

Recently, heart care teams across Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare earned prestigious national honors, including Methodist University Hospital and Methodist Le Bonheur Germantown Hospital being named American College of Cardiology HeartCARE Centers, and Le Bonheur Children's Hospital being nationally ranked for pediatric cardiology and heart surgery by U.S. News and World Report.

Dr. Jason Johnson and Dr. Sushant Khaire represented these achievements on the field at the Memphis Tigers football game, but this recognition belongs to every physician, clinician and Associate whose dedication helps deliver exceptional heart care every day.

A major milestone in advanced lung care. 🎉 The 500th ION™ robotic-assisted bronchoscopy was completed at Methodist University Hospital, a technology that helps physicians detect and biopsy hard-to-reach lung nodules with greater precision.

Early detection can make a meaningful difference in the fight against lung cancer, and we're proud to continue expanding access to innovative procedures that help patients receive timely diagnosis and treatment.

Congratulations to Robin Taylor, a recipient of Methodist University Hospital's BEE Award (Be Exceptional Every Day)! 🐝🌟 As an extension of the DAISY Award, the BEE Award recognizes non-nursing Associates who go above and beyond to make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients, families and fellow Associates.

Robin, an Environmental Services Associate, was nominated for her compassion and quick action when she saw a patient in need and stepped in to help. Her kindness, attentiveness and commitment to caring for others exemplify what it means to be exceptional every day.
