Members of our Le Bonheur Child Life team recently attended the Sit. Stay. Heal. Facility Dog Conference, a national conference designed for facility dog handlers, program leaders and organizations dedicated to animal-assisted therapy.

From continuing education and clinical strategy to networking with teams from across the country, the conference provided incredible insights to help us continue elevating our own Bonheur Buddies program.

Facility dogs, like JJ, are full-time team members specially educated to work alongside healthcare professionals. Whether helping a child walk after surgery, easing procedural anxiety, or providing quiet comfort during difficult medical moments, these dedicated teams play a vital role in improving patient experiences and outcomes every single day. We are looking forward to expanding the care we can provide by adding another facility dog to the team this winter.

A couple who works at Le Bonheur Children's Hospital recently faced a series of family emergencies. An elderly family member was hospitalized, and a house fire resulted in the loss of two children and an adult.

To support this couple during their difficult time, several members of the Pedi-Flite crew stepped in. They visited the hospitalized family member and brought food, allowing the couple to travel and be with grieving relatives. Others provided childcare and comfort for the couple's young child during this ordeal. The team also cleaned their home, joined them for dinner and organized a drive to help cover caregiving expenses and replace items lost in the fire. Additionally, one team member drove for hours to attend the funeral of the children and support the family.

"There wasn't a single day that went by without someone from the crew or management team checking in on us," the couple shared. "To say we felt nothing but pure love from this entire team is an understatement."

In recognition of their compassionate support, the Pedi-Flite team recently received a Power of One award. We are of this team for exemplifying our values and mission. This is a testament to the heart and dedication within our organization.

A little rain, a lot of heart. Despite the wet weather, the Tupelo Pumpkin Run raised more than $43,000 for Le Bonheur Children's Hospital! Thank you to everyone who ran, walked and supported our mission.

When you're part of a great friend group, distance doesn't matter.

When Le Bonheur parent Taylor found herself spending time at the hospital with her child, her friends from the Saline Mahjong League at The Social Parlor made sure she didn't miss out on what she loves. Traveling more than three hours from towns across Arkansas, they brought Mahjong to Le Bonheur so they could play together and help Taylor maintain her No. 1 ranking in their competitive league.

Their visit was about more than a game. It was a reminder that friendship, support and showing up for one another can make all the difference during a difficult time.

We are excited to announce that the 2026 Lawson's Legacy Golf Tournament raised more than $30,000. We are so grateful for the work Project Adam: Lawson's Legacy provides in promoting and facilitating the prevention of sudden cardiac arrest (SCA) in children, adolescents and others in schools and communities in the region. These funds will help us expand our reach even further into the community. Thank you to everyone who helped make the golf tournament such a success.

Important Announcement about tomorrow's Pumpkin Run in Tupelo, Miss.

In order to keep our youngest attendees safe with the incoming weather, we are cancelling the Boo Bash portion of our Pumpkin Run. The Kids Fun Run and Kids Costume Contest is also cancelled as part of the Boo Bash Festivities.

The 5K race will proceed rain or shine.

There is still one more chance to participate after this weekend.
