One of our sweet patients at our Le Bonheur Jonesboro Outpatient Center noticed a striking resemblance between Gastroenterologist Dr. Price Edwards and a certain iconic traveler in stripes — Waldo!

She stopped by to surprise him with the perfect Waldo ornament. Her adorable pet turtle came along for the visit, riding in style inside a fabulous, sequined f***y pack.

Moments like these truly make our days bright. Thank you to our patients for keeping us smiling.

The hallways within the Heart Institute at Le Bonheur recently looked a little bit more like the Grand Lobby of The Peabody Memphis!

We were absolutely thrilled to welcome Peabody Duckmaster Kenon Walker for a very special visit with our cardiac patients, families and staff. Armed with his iconic cane, Duckmaster Kenon brought the magic of the famous Duck Walk directly to our patients.

Having a piece of a beloved Memphis tradition brought right to their bedsides put the biggest smiles on our patients’ faces. We are incredibly grateful to Kenon for taking the time to spread joy, share words of hope and spend meaningful time with these patients.

Please join us in congratulating Kelly Bobo, the director of Pharmacy at Le Bonheur Children's and assistant professor at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center on receiving the Health-System Distinguished Service Award from the Tennessee Pharmacists Association.

This incredible honor recognizes Bobo's nearly 30 years of unwavering dedication to advancing pediatric pharmacy. Throughout her time as clinical manager and pharmacy director, her leadership has driven innovation and upheld the highest standards of safety for our kids. Beyond her clinical leadership, Bobo has guided future pharmacists as our residency program director at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Pharmacy.

Among her many achievements, Bobo championed the integration of the KIDs list into formulary management—a groundbreaking initiative that enhanced pediatric medication safety and earned a national Best Practice Award.

We are of Bobo for her dedication to providing quality care to our patients and families.
