My mom used to say, el que busca, encuentra. The person who looks for it will find it.

Psychology confirms it. Scripture promises it. And last month I decided to test it.

I set the intention of magic for the entire month of May.

And what I found was a daughter singing to my face in the dark, a letter hidden inside a mirror for two years, and proof that the universe had been answering prayers I forgot I had prayed.

You will always find evidence for what you are looking for. The only question is what you have decided to look for.

What if paying your bills was actually an act of gratitude?

I know that sounds wild, but stay with me. I stopped seeing bills as obligations and started seeing them as opportunities to express appreciation. When I pay my phone bill, I am saying thank you for letting me stay connected to my kids, for letting me see where they are, for keeping me in their lives. When I pay my mortgage, I am saying thank you for giving me a place where my family created holy moments and memories for years.

Now when I hand over my card, I do it with joy. Charge me, because I value what you are giving me. That energy shift changes everything about your relationship with money. Gratitude and abundance move together.

Here is something I want you to sit with. "I can't" and "I don't know how to" are not the same thing, and the difference in energy between those two phrases is everything.

When you say I can't be wealthy, what you are really saying is I have never done it before and I don't yet know how. That is not a ceiling, that is just a starting point. And the moment you make that shift, something opens up.

And while we are at it, let us retire the word trying. You either do or you don't. A friend of mine shared this with me once, her dad used to say try to pick up that paper from the floor. Just try. Your life is good. Your faith is real.

Your faith is not enough.

I know that sounds bold. Stay with me.

You love God. You pray. You go to church. You read the Bible. You do all the things.
And you still complain. You still judge. You still lose your temper. You still don't show up as the person you know God created you to be.
