The truth about life problems...

08/27/2026

You are the best mother, father, sister, friend, brother, husband, or wife you will ever have.

Oprah said , and it stuck with me, because it's true.

The Creator gave you full responsibility for your life. That's not just a weight, it's a privilege. You have the power to give yourself the love, the intimacy, the affection you may not have received as a child.

You and God, one together, can love yourself like crazy.

So the next time you feel invalidated, unseen, invisible... go to the mirror. Look at yourself through the eyes of Jesus.

Losing your faith doesn't mean God stopped existing.

You don't have that kind of power, and honestly, that should be a relief.

Here's how I think about it. There's a door between you and God. That door has a handle and a lock, but only on your side. On His side, there's nothing. He can't force it open. He won't.

You have to open the door.

And once you do? Blessings and grace start moving. Life gets so much better.

If you've drifted, this isn't about guilt. It's an invitation. He's already right there, waiting on the other side of a door only you can open.

Grief is the path to healing and joy. It is not meant to be the destination. My heart was filled with grief years ago, but today it explodes with joy, peace, and a whole lot of gratitudešŸ¤—

Here's why breathing actually works.

When you're triggered, your sympathetic nervous system takes over. Oxygen leaves your brain and floods your arms and legs. Your body isn't trying to help you think. It's trying to help you fight or run.

That's why in that moment you can't think clearly, you can't process, you can't hear anything but the alarm.

Breathing brings the oxygen back to your brain. It's not a nice-to-have. It's the difference between reacting from the flesh and responding from the Spirit.

Next time you feel triggered, before you speak, before you react, breathe. Give your brain the chance to come back online.

Last week I told you that you only have one problem.

Today I am telling you exactly how to solve it.

The answer is three steps. Outsmart your mind. Nourish your spirit. And stop studying the bird and start experiencing the magic of it.

Because there is a version of faith that lives in your head as concepts and there is a version of faith that comes out of your pores, that makes people look at you and say, I want what she has.

That second version is available to you. And today I am going to show you how to get there.

The "Separation from God" problem...

08/24/2026

Here is a question I ask myself constantly now. Am I intentionally creating thoughts that will serve me, or am I letting my thoughts destroy the very things I am trying to build?

I want to construct my thoughts. I want to build them on purpose, the good ones, the ones that lead to joy, peace, and possibility. So now, every time I feel worry creeping in, I pause and ask myself, what questions do I need to be asking right now so that I can build the belief that success is inevitable for me?

That single shift, from passive thinking to intentional thought creation, has changed everything.

Twenty-two years ago I started doing one thing with my husband that changed our marriage more than anything else I've ever tried.

We pray together. Every single night.

Not a formal thing. Some nights it's a few sentences before we fall asleep. Some nights he prays. Some nights it's the other way around.

Here's what I didn't expect. When you pray together, you're not just talking to God. You're talking to each other through God. I'll thank Him for my husband, for the way he showed up for me that day, for the man he is. He gets to hear it without the awkwardness of a direct compliment. And I've learned more about what's really in his heart through prayer than I ever have in regular conversation. The things he's carrying. The things he's grateful for. The things he'd never think to bring up on his own.

There's a door between you and God. It has a handle on your side only. He's not going to force it open. You have to open it.

Try it tonight. Just a sentence. See what it opens.
