Just a tunnel… think again!

With a little bit of creativity, our tunnel has become so much more! Speech therapy can look a million different ways and can be embedded into any activity. The tunnel is our proof!

Magnetiles are SO versatile and can be used to teach literacy skills!

Decoding CVC words, creating rhyming words or using them to tap out syllables—the possibilities to use them in reading are endless.

Theres nothing like a bunch of fake creepy crawlies—especially around Halloween!

We have so many fake bugs around here (flies, cockroaches, worms, and more...) and we use them more often than we’d like to admit.

Whether creating pranks, hiding them in plants, using them in sensory bins or creating a bug train; they have proven to be great speech therapy tools time and time again.

Have you seen these dry erase dice before?

These add such a fun element to sounding out and reading words—real or alien! You can throw them high, throw them under a table, or just roll them as you typically would and then start building words.

The best part, they can be customized with the specific letters that you are working on.

You know we LOVE animals around here... but mini animals, we are obsessed.

These are perfect for speech therapy sessions. We work on comparing and contrasting, categorizing, describing, play, social pragmatics and more!

The best magic trick... don’t want to work on writing, no problem, let’s work on erasing!

Working on letter formation at the early stages can be done in so many ways—sand, shaving cream, rainbow writing. Using a magic marker where instead of writing it erases, sound silly but works like a charm!

Ever used kinetic sand with older kids?

It’s often used with the little ones, but we have a trick or two for using it with all students!

For example, theres nothing more engaging than putting your hands in a fly and cockroach infested bin of kinetic sand while working on articulation or building language.
