Where are all my “I turn into my weirdest, happiest self the second I’m in nature” girls at? 🌲😂

👉🏼One minute I’m hiking...

The next I’m hugging trees, dancing for no reason, and talking to plants like they’re old friends.🤷🏻‍♀️

Nature doesn’t just calm my nervous system—it reminds me who I am before the world tells me who to be.

If you’ve ever caught yourself dancing in the woods, collecting rocks, or hugging a tree... welcome. You’re my people. 🌿🤍

Drop a 🌲 below and share with your fellow nature weirdos!

Most people think a healed nervous system means you’ll never feel stressed again.

I don’t believe that’s true.

🤯I think a healed nervous system is knowing you can experience stress without losing yourself.

👉🏼It’s choosing to pause instead of panic.

👉🏼It’s trusting yourself instead of needing everyone else to understand you.

👉🏼It’s no longer abandoning yourself just to keep the peace.

You stop over-apologizing.
You let people misunderstand you.
Your body finally trusts that slowing down is safe.

Peace becomes your baseline instead of something you have to chase.

Because healing isn’t about creating a life with zero stress.👏🏼

It’s about creating a life where you no longer betray yourself to survive it.

We’ve been taught to override our bodies.
Push through the exhaustion.

Ignore the stress.
Drink the coffee.
Take the pill.
Keep producing.

And then we wonder why anxiety, burnout, and chronic symptoms have become so normal.

Maybe your body isn’t working against you.

Maybe it’s asking you to slow down long enough to listen.

Ayurveda teaches us that we are not separate from nature—we are nature. And when we disconnect from our own rhythms, our bodies eventually speak louder.

Your body was never the enemy.
It has always been the messenger.

Share this with someone who needs to hear it. 🤍

Where are my recovering people pleasers at? 🙋🏼‍♀️

There comes a point in your healing journey where you realize that healing your nervous system isn’t just about feeling less anxious, stressed, or overwhelmed.

It’s about creating enough space in your life to finally hear yourself.

Your needs.
Your desires.
Your intuition.
Your limits.

For so many years, I thought being a good person meant always being available.

Always saying yes.
Always responding.
Always making sure everyone else was comfortable, happy, and taken care of.

But what I didn’t realize was that somewhere along the way, I stopped checking in with myself.

A dysregulated nervous system will convince you that everyone else’s needs are urgent and your own can wait.

A healing nervous system starts to recognize that constantly abandoning yourself isn’t kindness.

It’s self-neglect.

And healing looks like changing that pattern.

👉🏼Healing looks like taking the nap.
👉🏼Not answering the text right away.
👉🏼Saying no without writing a five-paragraph explanation.
👉🏼Protecting your energy.
👉🏼Taking space when you need it.
👉🏼Choosing yourself without needing permission from anyone else.

Because the goal isn’t to become unavailable.

The goal is to stop believing that your worth is tied to how available you are.

The healing journey:
From feeling guilty for disappearing...
To protecting your peace unapologetically. ✨

If this resonated, save it for the version of you that’s still learning that it’s safe to put herself first.

And share it with a recovering people pleaser who needs this reminder today. 🤍
