Whose voice is that, anyway?

That harsh voice telling you that you’re not good enough, smart enough, successful enough, or that everyone else is somehow ahead of you may feel like the truth—but it isn’t necessarily telling you the whole story.

Your inner critic often has a history. And learning to question it can change the way you relate to yourself.

In Lynne’s latest blog, she explores where the inner critic comes from and why compassion may be more powerful than criticism.

What if you’re waiting for confidence that can only come after you take the first step?

We often tell ourselves, “I’ll do it when I feel ready.” But confidence doesn’t always come first. Sometimes, you have to act while you’re still nervous, uncertain, or afraid.

Every difficult conversation, boundary, risk, or new beginning gives you evidence that you can handle more than you thought. That evidence builds self-trust—and eventually, confidence.

You don’t need to have everything figured out. You just need to identify the next small step.

What’s one step you’ve been waiting to feel confident enough to take?

You deserve rest! And not just because you’ve earned it.

Rest isn’t a reward. It’s a basic human need. Sometimes the healthiest thing you can do is absolutely nothing. Sit on your porch. Take a walk without your phone. Read a book simply because you enjoy it. Catch up with old friends.

What if losing is simply the price of playing the game?

We spend so much energy trying not to lose.

The job. The relationship. The promotion. The competition. The opportunity.

And when something doesn't work out, it's easy to turn disappointment into something much bigger:

"What did I do wrong?"
*"Why wasn't I good enough?"
*"What does this say about me?"

But losing doesn't have to mean that something is wrong with you.

In her latest blog, Lynne Moser, LCSW explores what defeat can teach us about resilience, self-worth, courage, and the ability to keep showing up—even when life doesn't go the way we hoped.

Because sometimes the greatest lesson isn't how to win.

It's learning that you can lose something important and still be okay.

💭 Have you ever experienced a disappointment that ultimately taught you something about yourself?

What would happen if you stopped trying to control everything?

Not because you don't care.

Not because you've given up.

But because you finally realized that some things were never yours to carry in the first place.

We can spend so much energy trying to change other people's choices, predict every possible outcome, fix situations that aren't working, or hold together something that's already falling apart.

And sometimes we don't realize what it's costing us until we're exhausted.

In her latest blog, Lynne Moser, LCSW explores the unexpected freedom that can come from letting go of control—and how releasing what isn't yours can help you reconnect with yourself.

💭 Ask yourself: What is this costing me?

If the answer is your peace, your health, or your sense of self, it may be time to look at what you're carrying.

How flexible are you in your relationships?

Not physically—emotionally.

When disagreements happen, do you become defensive, or do you get curious? Do you expect your partner to meet your expectations exactly as you've imagined them, or are you able to adapt as life changes?

Many relationship struggles don't come from a lack of love—they come from rigidity.
Learning to become more emotionally flexible can reduce conflict, deepen trust, and create a relationship where both people have room to grow.

Read the full blog to discover why flexibility may be one of the most important (and overlooked) ingredients of a healthy relationship. ❤️

Flexibility is an essential part of a healthy relationship. Learn how adapting to change, staying open, and letting go of rigid expectations can strengthen trust, communication, and intimacy.
