We work with families to assess the child and develop unique programs for their individual needs in their home and community. 🎉 Please join us in giving a warm welcome to Caroline Glahn, our newest BCBA Staff Trainer! 💙

Caroline recently earned her Master of Science in Applied Behavior Analysis from Auburn University after graduating Magna Cum Laude with a B.A. in Psychological Sciences and a minor in Human Development and Family Sciences.

Throughout her academic career, Caroline gained extensive experience supporting individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities through Auburn University's Center for Autism Research Treatment and Training (CARTT) and the EAGLES program. She also contributed to innovative research in the Neurobehavioral Dynamics Laboratory, helping develop behavior-analytic interventions for self-injury, stereotypic movement disorders, and relapse prevention.

Caroline brings a strong background in early intervention, behavior management, social skills instruction, and training behavior change agents, making her a fantastic addition to our clinical leadership team. We're excited for the expertise, compassion, and dedication she'll bring as she supports and mentors our staff.

Outside of work, Caroline enjoys exploring new coffee shops, reading, playing volleyball, and spending time outdoors.

🎉 Please join us in welcoming Jacob Hooks to the Manhattan Behavioral Center team as our newest ABA Therapist! 💙

Jacob brings over 10 years of experience supporting individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder and is deeply committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based ABA therapy. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Appalachian State University, graduating with distinction, and is currently pursuing his Master of Science in Applied Behavior Analysis at the University of North Carolina–Charlotte.

Since completing his undergraduate degree, Jacob has worked with more than 20 clients ranging in age from 2 to 15 years old across home and clinic settings. His clinical interests include autism spectrum disorder, social and emotional skill development, supporting autistic adolescents, and exploring the impact of algorithms on the developing autistic brain.

Originally from North Carolina, Jacob is excited to call New York City home! Outside of work, you'll find him discovering new music, enjoying movies and TV, reading, swimming, weightlifting, crafting cocktails, diving into comic books, and cheering on the Green Bay Packers.

We're thrilled to have Jacob join the MBC family and can't wait for the positive impact he'll make in the lives of our students and families. Welcome to the team, Jacob! 💙

🎉 Please join us in welcoming Alexa Haas to the Manhattan Behavioral Center team as our newest Speech Therapist! 💙🗣️

Alexa earned her Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Teachers College, Columbia University in 2026 after graduating with distinction from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Health Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders.

She brings experience providing evidence-based speech and language services to children in schools, outpatient centers, and private practice settings. Alexa's clinical interests include early language development, autism spectrum disorder, augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), speech sound disorders, and social communication.

Alexa is passionate about providing individualized, play-based, family-centered therapy that builds on each child's unique strengths while supporting meaningful, functional communication. She is committed to collaborating with children, families, and interdisciplinary team members to help every child achieve their communication goals and reach their fullest potential.

We're thrilled to have Alexa join our team and can't wait to see the positive impact she'll make on the children and families we serve. Welcome, Alexa! 🌟
