Dr Hoellwarth described patient Mr O is an older man who had a knee fusion to manage a motorcycle accident. He was having pain and frustrated that it had been draining for 7 years. Other doctors recommended amputation, but I felt it was worth seeing what would happen by simply removing the hardware and injecting bone paste first. His drainage has stopped, and he is so much happier!
