Ever find yourself Googling a symptom "just to be safe" only to feel more anxious afterward?

For people struggling with health anxiety, reassurance often becomes part of the cycle. This week's blog explores why more information doesn't always bring more peace of mind and how evidence-based treatment can help. Read more here:

Most people have Googled a symptom before. A strange headache, an unfamiliar rash, a skipped heartbeat, dizziness, stomach pain, tingling, fatigue - in moments of uncertainty, it is natural to want answers. The internet has made medical information more accessible than ever, and for many people, tha...

Summer vacations are ramping up, and air travel can be especially difficult for those who struggle with anxiety. We’re here to help if the thought of flying is keeping you from living the life you want to live✈️💜

For many people, summer travel is associated with excitement, adventure, and a break from routine. Memorial Day is almost here and along with it, the unofficial start to summer. Over the summer, gatherings like graduations, vacations, parties, and family events tend to increase. If those experiences leave you feeling more emotionally drained and overwhelmed than relaxed or excited, you’re not alone - and support is available.

Our latest blog explores the very real experience of social anxiety and how evidence-based treatment can help individuals participate more fully and comfortably in the moments that matter most.

For many people, summer is associated with connection, celebration, and relaxation. Graduation parties, weddings, vacations, barbecues, family gatherings, work events, concerts, and neighborhood get-togethers often fill calendars this time of year. Social media reinforces the message that summer is....

Anxiety isn’t always “just anxiety.” Sometimes what looks like generalized worry is actually OCD hiding underneath the surface.

Understanding the difference informs the direction of treatment - especially when reassurance, overthinking, and rumination start becoming part of the cycle.

Our newest blog breaks down the differences between GAD and OCD, why they’re so often confused, and why accurate diagnosis matters when it comes to effective treatment.

Read more below ⬇️

Many people know they’re anxious. Far fewer know whether what they’re experiencing is actually generalized anxiety, OCD, or a combination of both. What a great way to spend a weekend! We’re still feeling energized after getting to be part of the 20th annual Walk the Walk yesterday with The Community House.

We’re incredibly grateful for the opportunity to connect with so many families, community members, and fellow providers while supporting mental health awareness in such a fun, meaningful way. Events like this are such a good reminder that conversations about OCD, anxiety, and mental health belong everywhere - out in the community, with families, with kids, and with each other.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our table, shared your stories, asked questions, or simply said hello. We loved being part of it!
