12 years ago this month, Petsadena Animal Hospital opened its doors with one goal in mind: creating a place where people and pets feel truly cared for. 💙

Over the last 12 years, we’ve shared so many moments together. We are so thankful to have been a part of the exciting new beginnings, the milestones, the wagging tails, the healing journeys, and even the hardest goodbyes. Through it all, this community has become family to us.

To our incredible team, loyal clients, and beloved patients: thank you for trusting us, supporting us, and allowing us to do what we love every single day. We are beyond grateful to continue serving this amazing community and can’t wait for all the years still to come.

Way too excited to introduce you guys to our newest doc! Everyone give a big warm welcome to the amazing Dr. Ella Sherman!

Dr. Ella Sherman is so excited to be the newest member of the Petsadena family! Her favorite part of being a veterinarian is meeting all of the wonderful pets and owners and creating strong relationships with them. She prides herself on getting to know her patients well so that she can come up with a plan that works for the whole family. Having a pet parent’s trust is something she takes very seriously.
Dr. Sherman is originally from Los Angeles where she grew up in the only house in the neighborhood with chickens, tortoises, snakes, geckos, and Australian Shepherds. It’s no wonder she chose the career she now loves. She moved away from LA to Atlanta to study Psychology at Emory University. Afterwards, she moved to Davis, CA to earn her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from the University of California, Davis. She is happy to be back and working in the city she calls home. Pasadena holds particularly special memories for her as she grew up going to the Huntington Library’s summer camp.
Outside of work, Dr. Sherman loves to read and is always looking for new recommendations. She takes advantage of LA living as much as possible by going to concerts, comedy shows, seeing old movies at theaters like The New Beverly or The Vista, and eating as much as physically possible.
