Just one time and you might just get addicted to the feel good chemicals.

We all learned that mitochondria are the actual powerhouse of the cell. They turn the food you eat and the oxygen you breathe into ATP, which is the chemical energy your body uses to move, heal, and think.

Red light therapy helps by shining specific wavelengths of red and near-infrared light onto your tissues, where the mitochondria absorb the light energy and speed up energy production.

How Red Light Helps Mitochondria

Clears blockages: Stressed cells build up nitric oxide inside the mitochondria, which blocks oxygen and slows down energy output. Red light safely removes this nitric oxide.

Boosts an important enzyme: It stimulates an enzyme called cytochrome c oxidase, helping the electron transport chain run much faster and smoother.

Increases ATP energy: With the blockage gone and the enzyme active, the cell produces more ATP fuel.Aids healing: Extra energy allows cells to repair damage, lower swelling, and recover faster.

...it's about training your nervous system.

The first few seconds in a cold plunge trigger your body's natural stress response—your breathing speeds up, your heart rate rises, and your mind tells you to get out.

The real training begins when you stay calm.

By focusing on slow, controlled breathing, you're not just building cold tolerance you're training your nervous system to stay composed under pressure.

Over time, that skill can carry over into everyday life, helping you respond to stress with greater control and resilience.

The cold is temporary.
The mental strength you build can last far beyond the plunge.

Have you tried a cold plunge? Let us know how it makes you feel! 👇

Why does sauna sweat feel different than workout sweat?

They're both sweat—but they're not the same experience.

In a sauna: Your body is responding to external heat. Blood vessels widen, your heart rate increases, and you sweat to cool yourself down—all while your muscles stay relatively relaxed.

During exercise: Your muscles are generating heat from movement. Sweat helps cool your body while your heart works to deliver oxygen and fuel to those active muscles.

An infrared sauna session provides the same incredible benefits of exercise without the muscle fatigue. It also:
• Supports circulation
• Promotes relaxation
• Helps with muscle recovery
• Encourages cardiovascular health
• Leaves you feeling refreshed

Take a break from the strain and sweat in the sauna. Your muscles love it.

Master Your Breath. Master Stress.

A successful cold plunge isn't about fighting the cold—it's about controlling your breath. The right breathing technique can help calm your nervous system, reduce stress, and make your plunge more comfortable.

3 Breathing Techniques to Try:

Box Breathing
Inhale for 4 seconds → Hold for 4 → Exhale for 4 → Hold for 4
Helps slow your heart rate and calm your nervous system before you step into the water.

Physiological Sigh
Take two quick inhales through your nose (one deep breath, then a smaller "top-off" breath), followed by one long, slow exhale through your mouth.
Quickly releases tension and helps reduce stress before entering the plunge.

Slow Nasal Breathing
Inhale through your nose for 5 seconds → Exhale through your nose for 7 seconds. Continue this rhythm while you're in the water.
Helps prevent gasping, keeps you calm, and allows you to stay in control during the plunge.

Remember: The goal isn't to hold your breath—it's to slow it down.

Breathe Easier This Summer

Summer is made for getting outside—but it also brings higher pollen counts, wildfire smoke, ozone, humidity, and air pollution, all of which can place extra stress on your lungs. If you've been feeling like you're not breathing as deeply or recovering as quickly, your cells may need a little extra support.

At dtXfy, our PEMF (Pulsed Electromagnetic Field) Therapy can support healthy cellular function throughout the respiratory system.

PEMF doesn't treat asthma, allergies, or lung disease—but growing research shows it helps the body's natural healing processes by:

🫁 Supporting healthy microcirculation and oxygen delivery to tissues
🫁 Helping regulate inflammatory responses at the cellular level
🫁 Promoting cellular energy (ATP) production so cells can repair and function more efficiently
🫁 Supporting overall respiratory wellness and recovery

Research has shown that PEMF helps reduce inflammatory markers and improves tissue healing by influencing cellular signaling and mitochondrial function. Several experimental and clinical studies have also explored PEMF as a supportive therapy for lung inflammation and respiratory recovery, with promising results.

Your lungs work hard every second of every day. Give them the cellular support they deserve.

Book today. Breathe easier.
