Dianna Sue Odom Ramsey

Dianna Sue Odom Ramsey was born on Wednesday, November 3, 1948, to John and Ruth Odom. She had two sisters, Wanda and Johnnie, and one brother, Tommy. Growing up, they were taught to love God and family. She graduated from Port St. Joe High School in 1966. Later, she retired from Arizona Chemical when the plant closed.

She always tried to do the best she could to make sure her children had what they needed to live their best lives. This wasn't always easy as a single mother in the 1970s. She struggled to keep food on the table and the bills paid, but somehow she always made it work. Then one day she heard that Arizona Chemical had to hire three women. She didn't care about being hired because she was a woman; she just knew this was her chance. On her lunch break while working as a teller at Wewahitchka State Bank, she went to Arizona Chemical to fill out an application. When she got there, it was storming. She took off her heels, pulled up her dress, and ran. About the time she jumped a puddle, the man interviewing applicants looked out the window and saw her. When she got to his office, he hired her on the spot.

This is how she lived her life—she sacrificed for those she loved, she would do anything for her family, and she never let anything stop her from what she wanted. She never regretted a single decision she made. She came from a long line of strong women. They gave all they had but expected a lot in return as well.

She went home to be with the Lord on June 13, 2026. She was greeted in Heaven by her parents, John Dell Odom and Wanda Ruth D***s Odom; her two sisters, Wanda Jean Baker and her husband Herb, and Johnnie Marie Odom Vathis (who could not believe it had taken her so long); and her brother, John Thomas Odom. She also met her grandson, Alfred Dell Rudd Jr., for the first time.

She left behind a daughter, LeAnna Marie Rudd Anderson and Timothy Barnhill; two sons, Alfred Dell Rudd and Austin Benjamin Ramsey; a grandson she always thought could do no wrong, John-Paul Anthony Helms, and his strong wife, Megan Walker Helms; and their three beautiful

children, her great-grandchildren whom she loved more than anything else in this world: Jace Walker Helms, Emma Ruth Helms, and Finn Kai Helms. She also sadly left behind several nephews, nieces, cousins, aunts, and other family members and friends whom she loved very much.

They will feel her loss every day and will never be able to fill the void in their hearts and lives left by her passing. The only comfort they feel is knowing that she has been made whole and is now surrounded by the family she longed for.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 17, 2026 at Long Ave Baptist Church starting at 9:30 A.M. Eastern Time. The funeral will begin at 10:00 A.M. Eastern Time with Pastor Eli Prine and Pastor Dave Fernandez officiating. Interment will be held at Holly Hill Cemetery in Port St. Joe, Florida.

Tilmer Eugene Padgett

Tilmer Eugene Padgett age 77 of Highland View, Florida passed away on Saturday, June 13, 2026. He was born in Holmes County Florida on April 10, 1949 to the late Dewey C. Padgett and Emma Goddin. He spent is his life in Westville, Florida before moving to Gulf County thirty-nine years ago. Tilmer worked many years at FDOT as a truck driver before retiring. He enjoyed the simple pleasures in life like setting out in the yard admiring nature and going on walks.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, and one brother.

Tilmer is survived by his wife, Margaret Padgett; one son, Michael Padgett; one sister, Bera Linton, and a good friend from work that he always referred to as his "little buddy", Ray.

Per his wishes, memorialization will be by cremation with no services.

Richie Donald Golden

In Loving Memory of Richie Donald Golden

Richie Donald Golden, 41, of Panama City, Florida, passed away on Sunday, June 7, 2026.

He was preceded in death by his father, Richie D. Golden; his nana, Nancy Thompson; his uncle, Rusty Golden, and his Granny Golden.

Richie is survived by his beloved sons, Richie, Malachi, and Michael "Mikey"; his sisters, Melia Bosarge (Bud), Russhelle Golden (Ronnie Custer), and Jewelie Conard (Michael); his mother, Jewelie Sahaqui; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and a large circle of chosen family and friends who loved him dearly.

Richie loved his boys above all else. He was devoted to his family and the many friends whose lives he touched. He never met a stranger and was known for his generosity, often willing to give his last dollar- or the shirt off his back - to help someone in need. He was loyal, friendly, fiercely protective of those he loved; an animal lover, and a dedicated employee who always went above and beyond.

One of the things those closest to him will always remember is that he ended every conversation-whether in person or on the phone- with the words, "Love You". He often explained that he wanted the people he loved to always know how much they meant to him. He also never said goodbye. Instead, he would say, "Bye for now".

Life often presented Richie with challenges, but he faced them with determination and resilience. Rather than complain, he would study a problem, develop a plan, and keep moving forward. He loved being outdoors, especially fishing on the water, riding four wheelers through the woods, and enjoying nature.

Many nights, you could find him on the roof watching the stars and talking with cousins and friends, or sitting on the backyard swing listening to music, catching up with loved ones, offering advice to those who sought it or simply enjoying the muggy Florida nights. He had a remarkably ability to see the good in people, even those who had wronged him.

Richie's kindness, strength, loyalty, and love will be remembered by all who knew him. Though his presence will be deeply missed, the lessons he taught, the memories he created, and the love he shared will live on in the hearts of his family and friends forever.

Services will be held on Thursday, June 18, 2026 at the First Baptist Church of Eastpoint. The visitation will begin at 10:00 A.M. Eastern Time with the funeral following at 11:00 A.M. Eastern Time. Interment will be held at Eastpoint Cemetery.

Dorothy Mae Cason

It is with profound sadness and a profound sense of gratitude for a life well-lived that we announce the passing of our beloved Dorothy Mae Cason, affectionately known as Dot. She slipped away peacefully in the comfort of her home on May 24, 2026, at the age of 86, having gracefully battled years of declining health with the same strength and bravery that characterized her entire life.

Born on May 21, 1940, Dot was the cherished daughter of Rufus and Ellafair Williams. She grew up in a family filled with love and warmth, alongside her brother Buck and sisters Cilla, Jeanette, Lois, Shelly, Rosa and Patricia. Her early years in Savannah, Georgia, were spent surrounded by the affectionate embrace of family and friends.

Dot was preceded in death by her loving parents, her dear sister Rosa Turner, her beloved granddaughter Kellie Pirtle, and her husband Floyd Cason, with whom she shared a life filled with cherished memories. Despite these losses, she remained a pillar of strength to her family, inspiring them with her resilience and grace.

Dot's legacy is deeply woven into the lives of her children, Darlene Pirtle (Doug) and Stacy Cason (Michele), who carry forward her values of kindness and faith. Her grandchildren, Evan Pirtle (Kim), Erica Tessereau (Scott), Dustin Cason (Taylor), Caitlin Kimmerling (Stuart), and Cameron Cason, were her pride and joy, each blessed with her warmth and wisdom. Her great-grandchildren, Cole, Lauren, Will, and Reese Tessereau, Grace and Leo Cason, Roman, and Atlas Kimmerling, will forever be the living testament to her enduring love and influence.

Dot was a dedicated member of the South Cobb Church of Christ in Mableton, Georgia, where her faith was both her anchor and her guiding light. Her profound belief and resolve never wavered, even when faced with life's most challenging moments. Her church family was an extension of her own, sharing in the joys and trials of her journey.

An avid gardener, Dot's love for cultivating beauty was evident in the vibrant roses and blooming gardens that adorned her home. Her green thumb and nurturing spirit were renowned, and her gardens were often admired by neighbors and friends. She found joy in cooking, traveling, and immersing herself in the world of books, but nothing compared to her passion for family gatherings. Christmas, in particular, was her favorite time of year—a season of love and togetherness that she cherished deeply.

Dot's strength was matched only by her compassion. She was forgiving and always sought the best in people and situations, teaching those around her the power of kindness and understanding. Her courage in the face of adversity and her unwavering faith in the gospel were the cornerstones of her character.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to Angela Tessereau for her unwavering commitment and loving care of "GG" during her final days. Angela's compassion and dedication provided comfort and peace to Dot and her family during a difficult time, Also to Erica and Scott Tessereau who opened up their home to provide a warm , loving family environment while also sharing with the many obligations, and working tirelessly to make her last days comfortable.

A celebration of Dot's life will be held on June 27, 2026, at 3:00 PM at the South Cobb Church of Christ, located at 1776 Clay Rd, Mableton, GA 30126. Family and friends are invited to join in honoring the remarkable life of a woman who touched so many hearts with her love, kindness, and resilience.

In our hearts, Dot's legacy will forever bloom, as beautiful and enduring as the roses she so lovingly tended. She will be profoundly missed, but her spirit will live on in the family and friends she loved so dearly.
