Wyatt Lee Nunery

Wyatt Lee Nunery was born on May 22, 1995, in Panama City, Florida and passed away at his home in Wewahitchka, Florida on Saturday, May 30, 2026.

Wyatt was preceded in death by his beloved Granny Donna, Papa Howard, and Mavis Foster.

He is survived by his loving mother, Tammie Hicks (Tim), and father, "Leebug" Nunery; his grandparents, Bill Nunery, Teresa Redd, and Sammy Sims; and his brothers, Jathan "Rabbit" Nunery (Janessa) and Triston Nunery (Renee). He also leaves behind his aunts and uncles, Deneise and Frank, Norman and Terry, Casey and Lawanda, and Jonathan; his nieces and nephews, Juliana, Tessa, Ross, Dexter, JP and Tyler; along with countless cousins, including Ryder, Jarek (Emily), Jaden (Sarah), Trapper (Hope), Colton (Taylor), Sage (Cody), Cheyenne (PJ), Natalie, Hailey, and Lexi.

Wyatt graduated from Wewahitchka High School in 2013 before spending most of his adult life working in underground utilities. In his free time, he enjoyed doing the things he loved most—cat fishing on the river, playing video games, and enjoying games of Magic: The Gathering with Bubba, Bailey, and Jarod. He was also happiest sitting around a fire with a guitar in hand, often alongside Triston, Stetson, and Hunter.

Wherever Wyatt went, he was the life of the party. His infectious laughter, kind heart, and larger-than-life personality brought joy to everyone fortunate enough to know him. Finding someone that could enjoy the little things and make them worth mountains of riches is a rarity but Wyatt lived exactly that way. He was a carefree soul who did not live to work but instead worked to live. Wyatt will be remembered not only for the good times he created, but also for being a devoted son, grandson, brother, cousin, uncle, and friend. His presence made every gathering brighter, and his memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him. We mourn for this loss, but we celebrate a wonderful man and the love, laughter, devotion, and compassion he brought to us all.

A graveside funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. Central Time at Roberts Cemetery in Wewahitchka, Florida.

Arrangements are entrusted to the caring staff of Comforter Funeral Home in Port St. Joe, Florida.
