Doula Love honors the histories and traditions of indigenous people in the northwest and throughout the Americas. "From prenatal care to birth support to postpartum check ins, Patty has been an amazingly calm, confident, and steady presence for us. She provided amazing hands on and emotional support during our baby's birth and created much needed space for us to make the best possible decisions given our circumstances. Hiring her to support us through this time is one of the best decisions we've ever made. 1000% recommend!

From my partner: I am so glad that we had Patty on our team. My wife's labor and delivery had multiple unexpected turns. It was a major weight off my shoulders to not be the only support person ensuring she had the space and information to make the decisions that best suited her while under immense pressure. The complications of the delivery also meant we were in the hospital for several days. Patty went above and beyond with her commitments to us - coming to the hospital on very short notice before we moved ahead with an induction, staying with us for nearly 24 hours until our son was born, and visiting again the next day to regroup after a chaotic few days. Patty was such a grounding and comfortable presence. I couldn't imagine going through that experience without her."

"I can’t express enough how grateful I am for my birth doula, Kaitlin. After experiencing a difficult second pregnancy and a heartbreaking loss, I felt overwhelmed and fearful about my fourth pregnancy and whether I could go through it unmedicated. Kaitlin’s amazing support and kindness helped both my husband and me feel truly cared for and at ease. Even the nurses spoke highly of her compassion and professionalism. I genuinely believe I wouldn’t have made it through without her, and if we decide to have another baby, I can’t imagine not having her by our side again.

"Doula Love was great to work with from start to finish. I was a bit behind in trying to find a Doula near the end of my pregnancy, but Doula Love accommodated us and was able to link us up with one of the student Doulas, Lindsey B. Lindsey was fantastic throughout our experience, she was warm and kind and made it clear she was available anytime for us. I ended up being induced unexpectedly, but as soon as I let Lindsey know, we came up with a plan and she was there through labor and delivery. I really appreciated that since we did not get to take full advantage of services prior to delivery as I was so close to the end of pregnancy, Lindsey came to our home postpartum to both check on us and also provide support. I highly recommend Doula Love and in particular Lindsey B."
