The Peer Mentor Team is introducing a new recovery support program. We are partnering with Echo Ranch to provide equine-assisted growth and development for our residential patients.

This past Tuesday, both patients and staff were welcomed with a few friendly miniature horses in the courtyard from Echo Ranch!

In a few weeks, mentors will be scheduling bi-weekly outings to Echo Farms for patients who are eligible to attend. Echo Farms will provide an opportunity for patients to engage with their horses, groom and ride them if they choose.

When we recently interviewed Joey, a former patient at Fora Health, he told us that treatment can be intimidating at first. But as he leaned into the process and kept showing up, he found connection, support, and pieces of his own story reflected in the people around him.

Today, Joey's recovery journey is a testament to what's possible through commitment and community. As he shared, "You really do get out of Fora what you put into it."
