Together Counseling is starting a new virtual support group called Motherhood and Mental Health. "It's for moms who are feeling overwhelmed, anxious, isolated, or struggling to adjust to this season of life. The group offers a place to process those experiences alongside other moms while receiving professional support. I often hear moms describe feeling isolated and exhausted, and I wanted to provide a place where they could feel less alone while also getting some professional support."

I'm excited to be a guest on the Business of Breastfeeding vodcast on Tuesday, September 29th (10am PT/11pm MT/12pm CT/1pm ET). I'll be talking about how perinatal professionals can transform their expertise into meaningful educational resources that support both families and sustainable business growth. As birth workers and lactation professionals, our knowledge is valuable, and learning how to share it in scalable ways can help us expand our impact without completely exhausting ourselves in the process. Recording will be available for 90 days if you cannot attend live!

Join Papillon Collective 9/15/26 for a screening of No Country for Mothers—a powerful documentary exploring what motherhood really looks like in America today and why so many mothers are struggling. The film examines how our systems, culture, and expectations leave mothers feeling unsupported, overwhelmed, and isolated.

But this evening is about more than watching a film. It's about gathering with other mothers, partners, caregivers, and community members to have the conversations we rarely get to have out loud. To name what we've been carrying quietly. To realize we're not the only ones feeling this way. And to imagine what could be different.

Whether you're a new parent, a seasoned parent, expecting, supporting someone you love, or simply care about the future of families, we'd love to have you join us. Come for the film. Leave feeling a little less alone.

It’s World Breastfeeding Week!

This year’s theme reminds us that supporting breastfeeding is not only about individual families—it is also about nutrition, food security, equity, and healthier communities. Tracking progress helps us recognize what is working, learn where support is falling short, and strengthen the systems that help families meet their feeding goals.

Let’s celebrate the progress made—and keep building a stronger, more accessible chain of support for every family.

It’s World Breastfeeding Week!

After many years of sitting with families through feeding challenges, I’m continually reminded that feeding support is never just about one feed or one family. It is connected to nutrition, health, food security, equity, and the strength of our communities.

This year’s theme asks us to look honestly at our progress: What is working? Who is still being left without meaningful support? What have we learned—and how can we do better? Every family deserves compassionate, skilled, and accessible care that honors their goals and their lived experience.
