Today, our HopeHealth team came together for a special all-staff meeting filled with recognition, appreciation, and celebration!

One of the highlights was honoring our incredible team members celebrating 3, 5, 10, 15, 20, and 25 years of service! 🎉 Each milestone represents years of dedication, meaningful connections, and a lasting impact on the patients, families, and communities we serve.

In honor of National Hospice & Palliative Care Month, staff also received cozy HopeHealth blankets as a token of appreciation for the warmth, comfort, and compassionate care they provide every day.

We are so grateful for the incredible people who make HopeHealth what it is. Whether you've been part of our team for a few years or several decades, your dedication makes a difference, and we're proud to celebrate YOU! 💙

Congratulations to all our service award recipients, and thank you to our entire HopeHealth team for all that you do!

Conversations about hospice care should begin long before care is needed.

In a recent Hospice News article, HopeHealth President & CEO Diana Franchitto and Director of Community Engagement Helena Moronta shared their perspectives on the importance of hospice education, building trust and strengthening connections within the communities we serve.

As Diana shared, our goal is to meet people where they are, build trust and make educational resources available so individuals and families feel informed and understand their care options.

Helena emphasized the importance of listening to communities, respecting different perspectives and recognizing the barriers that can shape how people understand hospice care.

“We cannot expect communities to come to us if we haven’t made the effort to come to them.” — Helena Moronta

These perspectives are at the heart of HopeHealth's new Community Engagement Program and our commitment to making compassionate care more accessible.

Thank you to Hospice News for highlighting this important work!

We're proud to have nursing students from Salve Regina University learning alongside our HopeHealth teams this semester!

Seven nursing students, along with their professor, joined us for a four-week clinical rotation, gaining hands-on experience across a variety of care settings, including inpatient hospice care, long-term care, and care in patients' homes.

Throughout their rotation, students have the opportunity to see firsthand how compassionate, patient- and family-centered care is delivered across the continuum.

We're grateful for the opportunity to support and inspire the next generation of healthcare professionals!

What do a spin around the block, a potluck and a picture book have in common?

For chaplain Gabrielle Sclafani, MDiv, they're all part of the job, and all ways of fostering spiritual connection.

Gabrielle works with children and families in HopeHealth's Pediatric Palliative Care program, where she sees spirituality as something much wider than religion or prayer.

"Spirituality is ultimately about connection," she says. That might be a connection to a greater power, to something that brings you joy, or to the people around you.

Here are five things you might not expect from a chaplain.

When many people hear the word “chaplain,” they picture someone offering prayers at a bedside. But on HopeHealth’s Pediatric Palliative Care program, chaplain Gabrielle Sclafani, MDiv, is just as likely to be building a miniature room with a teenager, organizing a family picnic or reading a pi...

This week, we're recognizing two important teams at HopeHealth in honor of Spiritual Care Week and Healthcare Quality Week!

While their roles are different, both teams are essential to ensuring our patients and families receive the highest quality care.

Our spiritual care team supports the emotional and spiritual needs of patients and families, helping them find comfort, meaning and connection during life's most difficult moments. Meanwhile, our healthcare quality team works to ensure the care we provide is safe, effective and continually improving.

Together, their work reflects our commitment to caring for the whole person and providing compassionate, high-quality care at the end of life.

Please join us in thanking these dedicated teams for all they do!

We're delighted to welcome the vibrant quilted artwork of local artist Ann Niederkorn to our first-floor gallery as part of our ongoing partnership with Public Art Works.

Each quarter, this partnership brings a new local artist into our space, transforming our gallery into a celebration of creativity, community, and artistic expression.

Ann's stunning quilts are abstract works of art bursting with bold colors, intricate patterns, and unexpected combinations of fabric. Inspired by her background in printmaking and her love of improvisation, Ann creates pieces that invite us to slow down, look a little closer, and discover something new.

We love how this installation brightens our hallway and brings a fresh perspective to a familiar space.

Next time you're on the first floor, take a moment to enjoy the exhibit!

A special thank-you to Public Art Works for helping us showcase the incredible talent of artists in our community.
