World No To***co Day | May 31

To***co use remains one of the most significant, yet preventable, drivers of cardiometabolic and respiratory disease globally.

According to the World Health Organization, to***co kills more than 8 million people each year—including over 1 million from exposure to secondhand smoke.

At Rasai Research, we see how to***co exposure compounds conditions like dyslipidemia, hypertension, and diabetes—particularly across diverse, underrepresented populations.

As the industry continues to prioritize real-world evidence and inclusive enrollment, addressing to***co-related risk factors within clinical research is critical to generating data that is both accurate and generalizable.

On World No To***co Day, the focus goes beyond awareness—it’s about integrating prevention, representation, and data quality into the future of clinical research. Because better representation leads to better science—and better outcomes.

World AIDS Vaccine Day | May 18

Today, we recognize World AIDS Vaccine Day—an annual reminder of the ongoing global effort to develop safe, effective, and accessible HIV vaccines.

Despite decades of progress in treatment and prevention, HIV continues to impact millions of lives worldwide. The pursuit of a vaccine remains one of the most critical goals in infectious disease research.

At Rasai Research, we stand with the global scientific community in supporting clinical research that advances prevention, improves equity in trial participation, and brings us closer to breakthrough solutions in HIV care.

National Lipid Day: Advancing Cardiometabolic Research Where It Matters Most

Cardiovascular disease remains a leading cause of morbidity worldwide—and lipid disorders continue to be a critical, modifiable risk factor.

In the U.S. alone, nearly 2 in 5 adults (≈38%) have elevated cholesterol, a key driver of cardiovascular risk. Yet despite this burden, racial and ethnic minorities remain significantly underrepresented in clinical trials—often comprising less than 10% of participants in cardiometabolic studies.

At Rasai Research, we’re focused on closing this gap.

Our approach to clinical trials is built on:
● Consistent engagement in diverse, high-risk populations
● Retention strategies that support long-term endpoints
● High-quality data driven by community trust and accessibility

Because effective lipid management isn’t just about lowering numbers—it’s about ensuring therapies are studied in the populations most affected.

This National Lipid Day, we remain committed to delivering reliable ex*****on, representative enrollment, and meaningful outcomes.

❤️ Heart Health Starts With Awareness

Last May 7, our team had the opportunity to visit the Older Adult Center for an engaging Heart Health Talk focused on cardiometabolic health in older adults.

We discussed:
• Common cardiometabolic conditions seniors may experience as they age
• How these conditions develop over time
• Lifestyle habits that may help reduce risk
• Ways to better manage heart and metabolic health through early awareness and consistent care

We also introduced our current clinical research studies and shared how participation in research may provide access to emerging treatment options while helping advance future care for diverse communities.

Thank you to everyone who joined us, asked thoughtful questions, and participated in the discussion. Conversations like these help empower healthier aging through education, prevention, and access.

When women are underrepresented in clinical trials, data gaps follow.

From safety signals to dosing and outcomes, incomplete representation limits how well results translate to real-world populations.

At Rasai Research, our community-based model supports more inclusive enrollment—strengthening data quality and clinical relevance from the start.
