✨Meet Rebecca ✨ Instructor at The Shed

Rebecca began her reformer Pilates journey in 2021 after struggling to stay motivated with traditional workouts during the pandemic. What started as a joke about “laying down and playing with her feet in straps” quickly became a transformative movement practice that changed the way she moved, felt, and connected with her body.
For the first time, Rebecca found movement she genuinely loved and could consistently return to. Through Pilates, she built strength, balance, core stability, flexibility, coordination, and a deeper mind-body connection. Most importantly, the practice helped her feel strong both physically and mentally.
Rebecca has completed 214 hours of Balanced Body Reformer training, along with 40 hours of classical Pilates training under a third-generation master instructor. She has also completed a Size Inclusive Workshop, gaining practical tools and considerations for supporting clients in larger bodies.

Rebecca is passionate about making Pilates welcoming and accessible for all bodies. She strives to create an encouraging, supportive space where clients feel comfortable, confident, and strong in their movement journey.

✨Meet Olivia ✨ Instructor at The Shed

Olivia is a Pilates instructor currently completing her Reformer certification through Balanced Body. She also holds a 300-hour yoga teacher training from CorePower Yoga, which informs her mindful and intentional approach to movement.

Olivia’s introduction to Pilates began at home, watching her mom practice along with workout videos when she was younger. Years later, while living in New York during the pandemic, she rediscovered Pilates through online mat classes she could practice in her small studio apartment. She quickly fell in love with the way Pilates could both challenge the body and support its healing at the same time.

As a new instructor, her goal is to create a space where friendships grow through mindful movement and shared connection.

Olivia’s classes are designed to feel supportive, empowering, and dynamic, guiding each client to stay mindful, challenge their strength, and leave feeling recharged.

✨Meet Aimee ✨ Instructor at The Shed

Aimee has been fascinated with posture and the way the body moves for as long as she can remember. What started as an obsession with standing tall eventually led her to barre—a gateway to Pilates. She’s been practicing contemporary Pilates for almost a decade and thrives on the mind–body connection.

After working in fashion in New York City, Aimee moved to Richmond in 2022 and quickly found her place within the city’s Pilates community. She is currently completing her comprehensive Balanced Body Pilates certification.

Aimee’s goal is to empower clients to develop body awareness and build confidence with progressive challenges. Her classes are designed to be energetic and engaging—a space where students can leave their day at the door and discover what their bodies are capable of.

Ashley Gerczak is a Virginia and New York City based comprehensive Pilates and yoga teacher and the founder of BLUE HONEY, a studio located in Irvington, Virginia. Ashley brings an athletic, strength-driven approach to her teaching, with her studio bringing together community and movement with high design. From her previous life with a career in the high-stress, fast-paced film industry and a past relationship with punitive movement patterning (like competitive running), Ashley found the value of Pilates—an informed and embodied longevity practice. Her movement philosophy is centered on a varied and diverse approach that is for every body and enhances the body’s daily functioning. She is also highly passionate about helping other teachers master and hone the craft and art of teaching.
