When something traumatic happens, we subconsciously attach a belief about ourselves. Often these beliefs can be negative like I’m unsafe or I’m unworthy of care or that was my fault. These can impact how we see the world.

Re-processing using EMDR or ART can really help shift these negative beliefs and to see the world through more of a value based lens.

Listen to my daughter‘s narrative since we process the car accident on site. Note the themes in the way she tells the story. EMDR and ART are both very powerful tools to help with processing trauma.

Last week a group of women came together. They identified cages that keep them stuck small like people pleasing, living in authentically so others feel comfortable, etc. The vulnerability and courage they showed was beautiful.
