One of our favorite San Francisco Towers traditions returned this week—the Annual White Elephant Sale!
Residents and team members generously donated an incredible assortment of treasures, from artwork, jewelry, clothing, and household items to unique collectibles and one-of-a-kind finds. This year's event also featured a silent auction, adding even more excitement to the hunt.
Residents, employees, caregivers, vendors, and even a few lucky visitors enjoyed browsing the wide selection, discovering hidden gems, and connecting with friends along the way.
Best of all, every purchase helps support our Employee Appreciation Fund, making this a wonderful example of a community coming together to celebrate generosity, connection, and the people who make San Francisco Towers such a special place. Thank you to all our resident volunteers and team members who curated, tagged and staged the hundreds of items over the last several months.

Standing room only! 🎶✨

The San Francisco Towers Chorale once again wowed a full house with an afternoon of favorite songs from the Golden Age of the Silver Screen. Led by director Lester Lynch and pianist John Wilson, the Chorale delighted audiences with timeless classics including Hooray for Hollywood, Over the Rainbow, Moon River, Summertime, and more.

Music has a unique way of bringing people together, and performances like these are a wonderful reflection of the vibrant arts culture at San Francisco Towers. We're proud to celebrate the incredible talents of our residents and the rich artistic spirit that makes both The Towers and San Francisco such extraordinary communities.

Resident Health Services is celebrating Nurses Week in style! The week kicked off with an amazing lineup of treats, themed celebrations, and thoughtful touches for the incredible nurses who care so deeply for our residents — and for one another. From Aloha Day with a coffee bar and pastries to Disney Day, Coachella Day, and sweet handmade tokens of appreciation, there’s no shortage of fun and gratitude.

Our staff had a sweet time getting creative with our Peep Art display! 🐣✨
What started as a simple, fun activity quickly turned into a wonderful opportunity for laughter, storytelling, and connection. Using colorful Peeps and a little imagination, we brought scenes to life. From having fun at beach, karaoke Peep, to playful adventures, every display tells its own unique story. Most importantly, this activity gave everyone a chance to relax, express themselves, and enjoy time together- connection, creativity, personalization, collaboration.

Staying informed and engaged is part of the culture at San Francisco Towers. Recently, residents have explored issues from the global stage to our own community governance. Supervisor Stephen Sherrill joined us for a conversation about priorities shaping San Francisco, while Bennett Freeman—Senior Fellow at UC Berkeley’s Institute of International Studies and Associate Fellow at Chatham House in London—presented Rupture: A Year of Upheaval in U.S. Foreign Policy and Diplomacy, offering perspective on the first months of 2026 and the shifting international landscape. Residents also gathered for a mixer to meet candidates for the upcoming Resident Council election, an important part of the shared governance that helps shape life at The Towers.
From city hall to world affairs to our own community leadership, residents continue to stay curious, involved, and connected.

A recent sunny day made for a great outing to the San Francisco Cable Car Museum. For many residents, it was a first visit and a chance to learn more about one of the city’s most iconic pieces of history. Residents enjoyed the views, the exhibits, meeting a conductor along the way and a fun afternoon exploring San Francisco together.
