Felton is named for its social services pioneer and executive director Dr. Katharine “Kitty” Felton who was called the ”conscience of San Francisco” and was committed to ensuring that children and families in crisis have access to social services and resources in order to help them build upon their inherent strengths and develop self-sufficiency.

🎸 One month from now, the Rusty Chains, a Bay Area-based Seattle tribute band, will return for their annual Chris Cornell Tribute & Su***de Prevention Benefit Show. After Chris Cornell’s tragic death by su***de in 2017, the band created this tribute to honor his legacy while raising awareness and funds for su***de prevention. Over the years, their benefit has raised around $100,000 for Felton’s Francisco Su***de Prevention program. 💙💜
