Our hearts are full in May. 💚

RAMS was proud that our very own Stephanie Ancheta, Peer Specialist, joined a panel at the 2026 American Psychiatric Association (APA) Annual Meeting in San Francisco hosted by American Psychiatric Association. Alongside Wonyun Lee, Alyssa Tate, MD, Thomas Pak, MD, PhD, and Joseph Guillory, M.D., they each shared their perspective on the panel, themed From Stabilization to Resilience: Integrating Recovery Principles in Everyday Psychiatry. Thank you Stephanie for sharing your insights on recovery-oriented care, lived experience, and peer-based support!

Following the panel, panelists joined site visits at RAMS service locations to learn more about frontline community-based mental health work.

On the next day, RAMS was honored to receive the 2026 APA Psychiatric Services Achievement Bronze Award, recognizing our innovative approaches to expanding access to mental health care for diverse communities. 🏆

Congratulations to North Carolina Statewide Telepsychiatry Program (NC-STEP) East Carolina University and Nulton Diagnostic & Treatment Center for their innovative work in our communities!

We’re thrilled to announce RAMS has been named one of the Fortune Best Places to Work in the Bay Area for the second consecutive year! 🎉 We ranked #7 overall out of 75 companies in the small to medium size category.

This recognition is based on RAMS employee responses to the Great Place To Work survey which measures their experiences with leadership, fairness, belonging, and overall workplace culture.

One employee shared, “Working here for me is inclusive, collaborative and rewarding. My presence is valued and appreciated and I feel really comfortable when I am at work. We work as a team, treat each other like family and do our best to respect and value each other every day while we are at work.”

We’re grateful to our dedicated team for fostering a workplace built on trust, inclusivity, and shared purpose.

Designed for mental health providers, educators, community workers, and service providers, these resources offer practical strategies for delivering more culturally responsive care across community, school, and healthcare settings.

RAMS is proud to support this work by sharing insights to help inform the research and findings.
