ient diagnostics such as a CAP-certified laboratory, respiratory therapy, and radiology featuring advanced 3D mammography, MRI, ultrasound, DXA, and CT scanning. Additional services include a comprehensive wound care center, physical, occupational, and speech therapies, a full spectrum of specialty physician clinics, and a home medical supply store. The HMC Emergency Department is available around the clock with a staff physician. Emergency and non-emergency transport services are provided by Hardin County EMS. HMC also offers convenient access to primary care and walk-in health services at its Tennessee River Family Health, located behind Walgreens in Savannah. HMC proudly manages The Darryl Worley Cancer Center providing cancer care, hematology, immunotherapy, biologic therapy, infusion therapy, injections & more life-saving care close to home for patients across the southeast region. Come to Hardin Medical Center, our Emergency Department partners with Tri-Star Health to provide Tele-Stroke services, bringing stroke specialists directly to the bedside through secure telemedicine technology.

This innovative program allows emergency physicians to quickly consult with experienced stroke neurologists, helping patients receive rapid evaluations and timely treatment recommendations without leaving the region. Faster access to specialized care can mean better outcomes when every minute matters.

• Anyone at any time can have a stroke. Each year nearly 800,000 people in the United States experience a stroke. Stroke is the 4th leading cause of death and a leading cause of long-term disability in the U.S.

• It CAN happen to you. A stroke happens every 40 seconds, and approximately every four minutes someone dies from a stroke.

• A stroke is a “brain attack.” It occurs when the flow of blood to the brain is blocked. When this happens, brain cells die and brain damage occurs.

The regionally renowned team at the Darryl Worley Cancer & Infusion Center is proud to welcome Arindam Bagchi, MD, a full-time medical oncologist and hematologist. Patients across West Tennessee, North Mississippi, and North Alabama can receive advanced, personalized cancer and blood-disorder care from an experienced, compassionate team, right here in Savannah on the campus of Hardin Medical Center.
