Our route setting team put a lot of effort into this reset, and they are incredibly excited for you all to experience the new lines. You can expect a great mix of classic endurance pieces, technical movement, and creative sequencing from the first clip to the chains.

Whether you’re looking to work on your pacing or just want to try some fresh movement with a partner, there is plenty up there to keep you busy.

Fresh lines, summer prep, and a little camp magic—here is your weekly Salt Pump breakdown!

First up, the big news: It is Lead Reset week! Our setting crew is currently hard at work putting up a brand-new batch of lines. If you’ve been looking for a fresh project to test your endurance, your canvas is being created as we speak.

Speaking of partners—with summer officially just around the corner, outdoor climbing trips are hitting the group chats. If you (or a friend) need to get self-sufficient, now is the absolute perfect time to jump into an Intro to Belay class. Learn the ropes, master the skills, and get fully geared up for a summer of adventure.

And a quick shout-out to all the parents out there: If you are still trying to piece together an active, high-energy summer plan for your kids, don't panic just yet! We still have a few remaining spaces left in our Summer Camps. They are filling up fast, so snag a spot before they're gone and let your young climbers burn off that summer energy on our walls.

The current Lead set is officially on the clock! If you’ve been projecting that one stubborn line or want to get one final run in on your favorite routes, this is your time to shine.

To make way for a fresh, beautiful batch of routes, the Lead Wall will be temporarily closed for resetting next week:

If you love working with kids, have a passion for climbing (or are eager to learn), and want to spend your summer guiding the next generation of adventurers, we want you on our team.

What you’ll do:

Coach kids through fun climbing games, technique building, and team challenges.

Provide a supportive and incredibly fun environment.

Come and join us in celebrating our amazing climbing community and the coming of the longest day of the year!

Our Non-Profit partner for this event is : FRIENDS OF THE LEDGES

Friends of the Ledges is a volunteer organization dedicated to the stewardship of local climbing areas and to preserving the historical tradition of climbing in the eastern White Mountains of New Hampshire and Maine.

Our partners at Sterling Rope, Tenaya Climbing, Friction Labs, Metolius, Petzl Climbing, and The Send Brewing are providing incredible prizes for the raffle. 100% of the proceeds go to benefit Friends of the Ledges...so buy a wingspan of tickets!

Climbing Event : The "Non-Comp"! Climb Comp-style routes in a no-pressure environment. Climbers can earn raffle tickets by controlling certain "zone" holds. Peer belay, honesty system judging.

Skala TP : Dr. Carla will be in the house doing assessments and giving feedback to athletes. Come check in with "the climbing PT" and leave with more body knowledge than which you arrived!

Food : The grill will be firing! Grill Maestra Sydney will flip and tong the vittles to perfection. Burgers, dogs, and veggie patties. Additional salads, accoutrements, fruits, sweets & delectables.

Beverages : Our friends at The Send Brewing and Roots Wild Kombucha will provide libations for the evening. Expect a variety of the finest Polar seltzers available as well.

This is not to be missed! Climb, laugh, eat & drink. Whether its on the wall or on sun drenched back porch, memories will be made.

Thank you, Tino, for, well... being you!

Tino Fiumara, our COO, will be leaving Salt Pump so he can spend more time with his family and for a role at Sun Life U.S. in Portland, ME. He's been a stalwart of our organization and we'll miss him dearly as a colleague and leader.

He's not going far though. He's said he's going to climb and hang more at Salt Pump!
