A new chapter in cardiovascular care is taking shape at SSM Health Saint Louis University Hospital by expanding options for patients. We now offer two innovative cardiovascular treatments: renal denervation for patients with difficult-to-control high blood pressure, and transcatheter tricuspid valve replacement for patients with tricuspid valve disease.

Together, these minimally invasive therapies expand the possibilities for patients who have historically had limited treatment options. These two programs bring new, evidence-based pathways to better patient outcomes and quality of life.

Dr. Swain brings extensive leadership experience and specialized expertise in breast health and cancer genetics. In her new role, she will help strengthen clinical care, research and medical education while advancing a vision for coordinated women's health care across every stage of life.
