A testimony written to us by one of our birding folks! We are glad we could help enhance your birding experiences, N.B.

Being a birder, my favorite time of year is when the birds are singing, primarily May to July. I walk through the woods and fields and hear all my friends singing. It was devastating to experience hearing loss in my mid-50s. Now, with the birding program on my hearing aids, and except for just a few species whose singing frequency is very high, my birding experience has immensely changed for the better. I hear the birds singing like when I was 25 and this listening experience has again become one of the greatest joys in my life.

We close out Better Speech, Language, Hearing Month with one last patient response to the question “My audiologists helps me….” This person said that she likes that we go to Foxdale. For those of you who don’t know, Albrecht Audiology goes to Foxdale and The Village at Penn State once a month. We can do cleanings, follow ups, programming adjustments, and picking up of supplies. Look for us there on the second Wednesday of each month. Call our office at 814-867-4327 to schedule an appointment at one of those sites.

Today for Better Speech, Language, Hearing month, one of our patients explains how he loves how he can now hear his spouse for the first time out of his left ear! He was always under the impression that a hearing aid wouldn’t work for him on that ear!
