With Election Day coming up on Tuesday, Nov. 3, now is a great time to make your voting plan. Early in-person voting is available through Sunday, Nov. 1!

Take a few minutes to confirm your polling location, check photo ID requirements, and decide when you’ll cast your vote. Don’t forget to share this reminder with friends and family!

Costumes, candy, and community!

Our Trunk or Treat was full of Halloween fun, and we were thrilled to welcome so many local families to celebrate with us! We loved seeing everyone come together to enjoy the season and make some fun memories.

Cold and flu season is here, and a few simple habits can help keep our community healthy. Remember to wash your hands for 20 seconds, cover coughs and sneezes with a tissue or your elbow, and clean frequently touched surfaces. If you’re feeling sick, give yourself time to rest and recover.

Feeling under the weather? Zepf Center Primary Care accepts walk-ins and offers COVID-19, flu A/B, and strep testing. Please call ahead so we can coordinate your visit, and wear a mask if you have respiratory symptoms.

What should quality gambling treatment look like? Now is your chance to help answer that question!

Our Gambling Treatment Program Manager was part of the initial CARF development group that helped create proposed standards for a new Problem Gambling Specialty Designation. These standards are now open for public feedback, and your perspective can help shape what comes next.

Whether you have professional experience, a personal connection to gambling, or an interest in strengthening access to care, your voice matters. Gambling-related harms impact people in different ways, and effective support should reflect those needs.

We’re proud to see our team making an impact beyond our walls!

Director of Emergency Services Kaylee Finch, MA, LPCC, recently spoke at Eastman & Smith’s employment law seminar, sharing insights with more than 200 HR professionals on navigating mental health challenges in the workplace.

Kaylee highlighted Zepf Center’s impact in our community and shared resources employers can use to support their employees’ mental health. She also spotlighted our 24/7 Crisis Care line and our new Co-Responder Program in partnership with the Toledo Police Department.

We’re proud of Kaylee for representing Zepf Center and helping more employers understand how we can work together to support mental health and well-being in our community!

Zepf Center offices will remain open during regular business hours amid the hazardous materials situation in north Toledo. Our community-based teams will avoid all evacuation and shelter-in-place areas.

Our Crisis Care team also remains available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, for individuals experiencing a mental health or substance use crisis. If you or someone you know needs support, call 419-904-2273.
