Spooktacular Safety Fair Cancelled

Due to an abundance and caution for our staff, volunteers and partners, we've made the decision to cancel tomorrow's (October 17, 2026) Spooktacular Safety Fair at TMC Rincon. It's just not possible to safely set up with the high winds.

Yesterday, TMC Health Cancer Center hosted an open house at its Craycroft Radiation Oncology location, giving referring providers an opportunity to connect and see the new Varian Edge radiosurgery system.

"The Varian Edge can treat all cancer types with radiation and provides highly specialized stereotactic radiosurgery for the brain and spine. This innovation allows us to treat more patients with greater accuracy, comfort and confidence," said Sarah Kilic, M.D., TMC Health Cancer Center Radiation Oncology.

Since kindergarten, this TMC for Children patient has always dreamed of becoming a flight nurse. Yesterday, that dream shone a little brighter when LifeNet pilots gave the patient and their family a special tour of TMC's helipad.
