Today is World Mental Health Day!

Mental health is an important part of our overall well-being, and today serves as a reminder of the importance of raising awareness, reducing stigma, and making sure individuals and families know that support is available.

At Foundations Group Recovery Centers Ohio, we recognize that mental health and substance use challenges often go hand in hand. That's why we're committed to providing compassionate, individualized care that addresses the needs of the whole person.

As we prepare to open our new facility in Hilliard and expand our services to include Mental Health Day Treatment, we're proud to take another step toward making quality behavioral healthcare more accessible throughout Central Ohio.

Today and every day, we encourage everyone to check in on themselves, support those around them, and remember that asking for help is a sign of strength.

We’re excited to celebrate the opening of our new Foundations Group Recovery Centers Ohio facility in Hilliard!

Join us on Wednesday, October 21st, anytime between 2:00 and 7:00 PM for our Grand Opening and Community Open House.

Tour our new Hilliard facility, meet our team and learn about our substance use disorder and mental health outpatient treatment programs.

Enjoy complimentary food from Tortilla’s Street Food, along with refreshments and sweet treats throughout the event.

Opening remarks and our ribbon-cutting ceremony will begin at 4:30 PM.

Every recovery story has the ability to change minds, reduce stigma, and show others what recovery can really look like. When people in recovery share their experiences with employers, faith communities, policymakers, neighbors, and the people around them, they help create communities where recovery is understood, supported, and celebrated.

This month, we celebrate the millions of people living in recovery and recognize the families, friends, peers, treatment professionals, and communities who help make recovery possible.

Recovery happens together. Meaningful connection can build hope, strengthen resilience, and remind someone that they don't have to navigate recovery alone.

Sometimes making a difference is as simple as reaching out, checking in, listening, or helping someone find the support they need.

Today, on International Overdose Awareness Day, we remember the lives lost to overdose and stand with the families, friends, and communities who continue to carry their memory.

At Foundations, we also recognize those who are still fighting. Those taking the first step toward treatment, those rebuilding their lives in recovery, and those working every day to support someone they love.

Overdose can affect anyone. No one should have to face substance use disorder alone, and there should never be shame in asking for help.

Today and every day, we remain committed to providing hope, connection, and a path forward.
