Today we pause to remember the events of September 11th and honor the lives lost, the heroes who ran toward danger, and the strength that continues to define our first responders.

At Van Mall Retirement Community, we are deeply grateful for the support and care our local first responders give every day. This morning we wanted to say thank you in a small way—by sharing free breakfast burritos and coffee to help them start their day.

To all of our first responders: thank you for your courage, your service, and for always being there for our community. We will never forget.

We had a great time watching the Seahawks vs Patriots game, we put up a poster for the residents to vote on who they thought would win and as you can see the Seattle Seahawks have a lot of fans here at Van Mall Retirement! It was a really fun night!

Another wonderful performance from the one and only Nehemiah Brown! We all love having him come and entertain us; he is an amazing entertainer who takes the time to connect with individual residents, making everyone feel special! One resident, Rose, loved hearing him sing the songs she requested when he was here before. He promised he would learn them and sing them next time, and he sure did! Can't wait to have you back on Wednesday, October 7th!

What an incredible day last Thursday at Van Mall Retirement Community’s annual “Cruisin’ for a Cause” car show! 🚗✨

We’re thrilled to announce that together we raised over $8,000 for Meals on Wheels People!

A huge thank you to everyone who came out,
showed off their beautiful rides, and supported seniors in our community who need a little extra help with food. Your generosity is making a real difference—one meal at a time.
