✨ SOME PEOPLE DON’T JUST JOIN A TEAM… THEY BECOME PART OF THE HEART BEHIND THE MISSION. ✨

Today, we are SO incredibly proud and excited to officially introduce Blaise Lacaze as the newest counselor at ARISE Counseling & Wellness! 💙🌿

If you’ve been around ARISE, chances are you already know Blaise. You’ve seen her loving on our clients, encouraging them, helping wherever she’s needed, and showing up with a heart that genuinely cares about the people who walk through our doors.

Long before stepping into this new role, Blaise was already making a difference here.

And that’s what makes this announcement so special. 🥹

At ARISE, we believe counseling is so much more than sitting across from someone and talking. It’s meeting people in some of the hardest seasons of their lives and reminding them that their story isn’t over. It’s creating a safe place for people to be honest, helping them recognize their worth, challenging them when they need it, celebrating the small victories, and continuing to believe in them until they learn how to believe in themselves again.

Today we want to give a huge THANK YOU to K Danielle Bonnevier. for taking the time to come speak with our group and courageously share her story. ❤️

There is something incredibly powerful about hearing from someone who has walked through the darkness and come out on the other side. Danielle reminded us that recovery is possible, hope is real, and no one is ever too far gone to change their life.

Thank you for sharing how the program of Alcoholics Anonymous saved your life and for showing our clients what healing, perseverance, and faith in the process can look like. Your willingness to be honest and vulnerable may have planted seeds that will change someone’s life forever.

At ARISE, we believe recovery happens through connection, community, and people who are willing to say, “If I can do it, so can you.”

💥 ROUND TWO… and this one was just as powerful. 💥

Tonight our evening IOP group took on Renegade Rage… with a few extra little players in tow. ❤️

At ARISE Counseling & Wellness, our owner, Christian, has always believed that some of the most meaningful healing doesn’t happen while sitting in a chair—it happens when people are moving, experiencing, feeling, and processing. Interactive and experiential therapy have always been some of her favorite ways to help clients work through the things words alone can’t always reach.

One of the most powerful moments of the day?

Watching clients shatter old alcohol bottles.

It wasn’t just about breaking glass…

It was about breaking chains.

Breaking the grip addiction has had on their lives.

Breaking old mindsets, shame, guilt, and everything they’ve carried for far too long.

Sometimes healing is quiet.

Sometimes healing is messy.

And sometimes… healing sounds like glass hitting the floor as someone finally decides they aren’t going back.

We are so thankful to Renegade Rage for giving our clients a safe place to release, reflect, and remind themselves that recovery isn’t just about putting substances down—it’s about building an entirely new life.

💥 Sometimes healing looks different than people expect. 💥

This morning, our IOP group stepped outside the traditional therapy room and into Rage for an experiential therapy activity focused on breaking old things off our lives.

Each client was encouraged to think about something they were ready to leave behind…

Addiction.
Shame.
Guilt.
Fear.
Anger.
Resentment.
Trauma.
Self-doubt.
People-pleasing.
The lies they’ve believed about themselves.

Then, with every swing, they symbolically released those burdens.

While we know healing doesn’t happen from breaking objects alone, symbolic experiences like this can help clients process emotions, practice healthy emotional expression, and create meaningful moments that reinforce the work they’re already doing in therapy.

Recovery isn’t just about quitting substances.
It’s about letting go of everything that kept you trapped.

At ARISE Counseling & Wellness, we believe therapy should be engaging, experiential, and life-changing. Sometimes that means sitting in a group room. Sometimes it means stepping outside the office and experiencing healing in a whole new way.
